This property is ran down. Very poor shape. Desk chair was all torn. Peeling paint. Carpet was very old and dirty. One of the worst Baymont that I have ever been in. Time to update.

My room was ok, just dated. Floor tiles cracked, carpet torn. Mattresses not comfortable. And I don’t appreciate the lack of a blanket. My son had reserved the suite and his “suite” was missing not only toilet paper but also a toilet roll holder. Front desk staff was helpful in resolving issues.

Stay away

The gentleman at the front desk was rude and kept unbuttoning his top buttons of his shirt. Room was dirty and smelled like dog urine. When we asked for a new room the guy at the front desk said he couldn’t change us rooms because we booked through a third party aka hotels.com. We asked for a refund so we could go across the parking lot to holiday inn he also said no. Worst hotel experience so wasted money on this hotel to go across the parking lot to stay at the holiday inn.

I was only there for one night, but it was clean and comfortable. The only thing I wish was different is that they had a fan in the bathroom for when we take a shower so it doesn’t get all steamy.

Unfortunately our first room had not been cleaned. The sheets had makeup on them and were a wrinkled mess. There was food on the floors. Carpet had not been vaccumed. It smelled gross. Surfaces were not clean. Our next room was better and smelled ok but there was dried urine on the toilet seat and toothpaste splatters in the mirror and sink. One of the pillow cases was dirty and smelled. If you don’t have an issue with other people’s ick this is the place for you. If cleanliness is important to you, then avoid this place. We chose not to eat the breakfast. But did look. They had the usual little boxes of cereal, apples, bagels, and muffins. You could also make waffles.

Great stay in Galesburg

Love this place. Stay here every time I drive through. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room is nice, price point great. Grocery and liquor store a block away. Really nice walking park right next to the hotel. The breakfast s better than most.

The first room they gave us had garbage in the sink, and the garbage cans were full. The luggage holder was folded up laying in the middle of the floor behind the door causing us to trip over it. The room that we ended up with was damp and musty.
