We stopped by the hotel on our way to the tournament around 1:00. Just wanted to pop in and see if our room was ready and could we drop off our stuff early. We were told it would be an additional $15 charge if the room was ready. Umm if the room is already ready why are you charging me extra? We already paid over $200 for the night. No thanks. Our first impression of the room was walking into find a bunch of dead ladybugs bugs on the windowsill. The room was OK, bed was decent, but this is an older property in need of updating. We were on the highway side and it was loud when we turned the fan off. Staff was pleasant. And there was coffee available.

Regardless of the ridiculous price, the toilet should've been clean prior to handing over a room key. In addition, there should also be hot water for the shower (the sink did have hot water). Worst if all, my complaints were brushed off. Ref the toilet: we'll let housekeeping know. Ref no hot water for the shower: it must be a third floor issue. There was no resolution, just excuses and brush off. I am angry with how much the room cost, and the lack of care about my complaints/concerns really irritates me.

The room was quiet and clean except for the window and grout around the toilet and bathtub. The bed was comfortable. Our room wasn't very dark at night due to bright lighting on the front of the building that shined into our room around the sides of the window shade.
