this facility is in poor repair and in need of a deep clean, dusting, removal of mold and repair of ceilings, hot tub. Door openings are difficult; breakfast is substandard, coffee is watered down and one even wonders is the cups were re-used. Linens are thin and bedding smelled sour. the staff were responsive but overwhelmed and tried to fix everything themselves. It seems like a property that was bought during a "fire sale" and didn't have the resources to put into it before re-opening for business. Some of the guests were sketchy drinking beer openly in the early morning in the dining area. A real disappointment.
Stayed a week and they were short staffed so they didn't clean everyday. We were supposed to get a cleaning 4 days in but they never did. The last day management realized they never cleaned but their only offer was to service the room which was a waste at that point. Room had nail clippings on the floor which was pretty disgusting. Breakfast and coffee were good. Staff were very friendly. AC worked well. It had updated mirrors, sinks, and tvs. Shower constantly dripped and the toilet stopped flushing. Pool was pretty cold and didn't look great. Hot tub was way too hot. If it was really cheap I might stay again but probably better to spend more and get better service somewhere else.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. Water was leaking in the bathtub and we arrived very late so it was hard to find a good parking spot, but other than that, no complaints.
Near dining and shopping, clean, quiet, convenient free parking, just off US Highway 34 (CKC) and friendly and personable staff.

Very pleasant stay. Room was clean and decent. Only thing we noticed was an unpleasant odor coming from the a/c unit...must have had standing water and not proper drainage.
I normally don’t leave reviews but this experience was so disappointing. I have stayed at many Country Inn & Suites while traveling on business. This Inn & Suites is simply wore out. When I arrived June 21, I was told the electricity had been out for a few hours. That was the reason the elevator was not working. The carpeting is stained and worn everywhere. Little fitness gym had a treadmill, upright bike and recumbent bike plus one floor mat. That was it. Had to go to right across the street to a Target for a phone charger after checking in. Target employees stated they did not have outage. Elevator never did work the 2 1/2 days I was there. Also when showering the tub would drain slowly. It took at least 20 minutes after the shower for the tub to drain. Staff was told immediately on that and for the next 2 days. Never fixed. When I mentioned the first day to staff I was told that they have plumbing problems along with electrical. Guess it wasn’t a storm that knocked out the power. I have stayed at many different hotel chains in my travels-rural, urban and in between. For the price I paid for this room in Galesburg Illinois, this was absolute robbery. I would not recommend this location to anyone ever.
Clean and great location, room and bathroom is big and clean. Very comfortable room. The lotion and shampoo and conditioner are of good quality. The quality of breakfast needs to improve. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to business travelers and family travelers
good value, nice rooms, good staff. The location is on the edge of town but close to main highways.
Hotel is very decent and price is excellent. Hot water for making tea was heated with a coffee urn, and not only tasted like stale coffee but was coffee-colored, gross if you like tea. Staff is very professional and accommodating.
They were able (& willing) to make a last minute accommodation, so that I was able to see my son off to college. Nice room. Nice facility.
Rooms and amenities were fine, nice free hot breakfast. However, they put us in the room that is right next to the pool, as in it shared a wall with the pool room. The pool that stays open with kids in it until midnight... You can imagine how loud that was. (seriously who designs a hotel with a room there, the housekeeping laundry room was also right across from our door and nice and loud too, that should have been put next to the pool, not a guest room!) Then to make it even better, they apparently allow parking lot parties. There was a large group of people partying it up in the parking lot right outside our first floor window. I mean I could have opened our window and shook hands with the party people. So I can't recommend this hotel as it seems they do not value their guests who may actually want to sleep in their hotel room prior to 1 or 2 am...
The room was clean and very comfortable. The only issue was the walls between the rooms are not noise suppressing. I could hear snoring for most of the night.

I booked this hotel because it has a hot tub... when we checked in we were informed that the pool and hot tub were under renovation.. I feel I should have been called and told before so I could make other arrangements and stayed somewhere else.
In town for a funeral. With three kids the pool was a great break when we had down time.
