Onomichi City Hiroshima Prefecture On the remote island of Momoshima which floats in the Seto Inland Sea there was a small shop called Hitomise Inheriting the spirit of hospitality Hitotsuru is a new inn that was reborn in 2020 Momoshima located about 40 minutes from the ferry port near JR Onomichi Station is a rare inhabited remote island in the Seto Inland Sea where the only means of transportation is by ferry Surrounded by the calm Seto Inland Sea and lush mountain nature Momoshima offers sea and mountain activities such as fishing swimming and SUP as well as mountain climbing hiking and cycling Hitotoki is located in a quiet village where depopulation is progressing The guest rooms which were renovated from a singlestory old house have a nostalgic appearance like a grandmothers house even with the latest facilities The kitchen cooking utensils and tableware are available for free making it a suitable room for longterm stays such as workcation
