Stopped here off route 80. Easy to get to and arrived just in time as the hotel was almost sold out. Got a room with two beds. Beds were not that large but worked for us. Had small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Decent breakfast - eggs, sausage, oatmeal and waffle maker. Only thing was noise - the ac made a loud when it turned on and off and you could hear the water when the room next door turned it on. Other than that it was decent, clean and good for overnight.
We booked here last minute as we are usually satisfied with Quality Inn branded hotels. This property is in definite need of an upgrade. However, that wouldn't bother me if it was otherwise clean and maintained. Unfortunately that was not the case. We stayed two nights. Open returning to our "cleaned" room we found 1. Beds barely made. Basically they just pulled the comforter up and called it good. Nothing was done with the pillows and even the comforter was not laying flat on the bed. 2. Neither trash can had been emptied. 3. No replacements of toiletries were provided. Breakfast was pretty standard but it was a busy weekend and they didn't really keep up. Particularly on day 2 we had to go to the desk multiple times to get replenishments. They also had the lobby doors and window wide open during breakfast and it was overly chilly until a guest took it upon herself to close both.
This facility is very tired and needs major renovations. Our card keys didn't work on entrance doors or interior door until we got a new one at the front desk. I thought I had booked a non-smoking room through Trip Advisor but I believe it was lost in the transition from Quality Inn to Oak Creek Inn. We ended up in a smoking room and could not change until the following day but chose to stay put. We opened the sliding door to air the room and that helped a lot. The room was quite small and the bathroom walls were patched in several spots. We went to the restaurant to eat and the rooms leading to the restaurant were very musty smelling. Not very appetizing so we went elsewhere. The staff were very pleasant and apologetic for our smoking room mix-up.
We were here in a little weekend get-away. Morgan the bartender was great! She made great drinks and gave great service. Reasonable prices too. This is definitely a must visit cozy lounge. We Will visit there again when we are in town.
We come to town often and have stayed in several different hotels. This is going to be our new top spot! Morgan, the bartender/occasional front desk girl, was super nice! We got an upgraded room at no charge. And anything else we asked for she went out of her way to get for us. We'll be seeing her again soon. Clean rooms, nice pool, and smoke free smell. Thank you
We got into this area late one night and decided to stay here since the Quality Inn has typically been a good place to stay. The night staff was very nice and gave us a good rate, and we were tired, so we checked in. That was the last time we will ever make that mistake! The filthy hall carpet should have warned us this was not up to par, but we continued to our room. Once inside, we decided the bed felt comfortable, and the carpet was clean, so we unpacked for the night. They offered free Wifi, but since we couldn't even get a signal in our room, that was useless. I decided to take a shower, and it was not in the least clean. It even had old soap inside! We left to get something to eat and when coming back, my husband saw a car pull up outside. Two men and two women inside, and one man handed a woman cash and she got out and came in. She wanted one room, had no ID, and paid cash. This was very disconcerting as he overheard a very strange conversation, but did not tell me about it until the next day since he didn't want to upset me. Needless to say, we checked out without even hanging around for breakfast the next morning. I would never stay there again!
If you want a decent night's sleep, this Quality Inn has good rooms in up to date conditions. My family and I have stayed here numerous times in Omaha. It is our first place we check online for vacancies. I will give them five stars when they get their new hallway carpet. The breakfast area is up to date. The breakfast fare is the usual for this price range, and the juice, coffee, etc. are re-stocked. The desk staff are helpful and friendly.
Excellent Staff...Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Good value for the price ( plenty of rooms available due to holidays I think ). Previous review said there were smoke smell-I certainly did not smell anything. Prior to checking in I made sure to look at room and apparently the property has been smoke free for more than a year. Breakfast was standard-nothing special. Close restaurants nearby so dinner options are available. Overall a good bargain for the price.
I had recently stayed at a Quality Inn in Appleton Wisconsin and found it more than adequate so I decided to stay in Omaha on a Western trip. The hotel is advertised as non-smoking. Maybe smoking is not allowed presently, but in the past this place must have been one giant ash tray. The moment you walk in the smell hits you. It must be permanently embedded in the carpets, walls, curtains, etc... The single King room they gave was intolerable. The poor night clerk tried her best to find me a room which had newer carpeting. They put me in a double (instead of a King). It was marginally better. It had a chemical smell rather than smoke. I hardly slept. The breakfast was pretty bad. The scrambled eggs were grey-green in color. The rest was marginal. I would not recommend anyone stay here who has a problem with smoke. Otherwise it would pass for a night if you get a budget price but I wouldn't want my wife staying there.
We visited this facility due to an out of town wedding. They were very accommodating to our large group. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Looks like they have done some recent updating. I like the fact there was a bar attached to the hotel that had a nice pool table and dart game. This made it nice for the adults to not have to drive after enjoying cocktails. The pool and hot tub could have been cleaner. There is no elevator for access to the second floor so if you have difficulties with carrying luggage up the steps, be sure to request a room on the lower level. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area.
