This "quaint older gem" was the perfect backdrop for our girls' weekend! Located in a charming neighborhood just 10 minutes from downtown Omaha, the house features a beautifully updated interior where every room has its own unique character. We especially loved the thoughtful selection of books and games. It was the ideal setup for our group of 4 moms and 8 daughters as we headed into town for the Brandon Lake concert!

The house itself was clean and comfortable. There were a few things to note. 1) Stairs to any bathroom--no toilet on the main level. 2) No dishwasher or dish drainer when washing dishes. We used hand towels to dry as there were no dish towels. 3) Road grading and exposed manhole covers on the streets during our stay. I'm sure it will be very nice when complete. Luckily, it was extremely hot during our stay so it didn't matter that there were workers on the street and the yard needed mowing. We didn't go outside even though part of our decision making included a fenced yard. We went to the zoo, Luminarium, Joslyn and putt-putt. Lots to do in Omaha.

When arriving, the house was very dirty. Floors had trash on them, and it seemed that nothing was vacuumed or mopped. We had to take it upon ourselves to vacuum the floors. The bedding looked as if it was not washed. Hair and blood stains were found on the bedding. We ended up buying new sheets and comforters for all five beds so our family could sleep comfortably. We texted the owner, and once we sent pictures, the owner no longer responded to our texts.
