Came into the lobby to check in Saturday evening after attending the first game of the MCWS, and find two large stacks of mattresses in the lobby. The ceiling was stained and had holes in it; appeared like repeated water leaks. The entire first floor was being remodeled. Asked for a 2nd floor room, but nope, 3rd floor. Got to our room, and no refrigerator (although there was a place for one). Called the front desk, no answer, even though I had just been there, so walked back down. Also no ice machine (although there had clearly been one). Had to drive to the Quik Trip to get something cold to drink and buy a bag of ice. After this fiasco, decided to take a shower. Found that the tub drained at a glacial pace. The water backed up so fast that two people couldn't take a shower back to back without overflowing the tub unless you turned off the water when you weren't rinsing. Tried to call the lobby to complain about this, and again, no answer when dialing '0' for the front desk. The remote for the TV didn't work either, turns out that you have to reach around the TV to turn the TV on, the "Power On" button on the remote is just for show.
My recommendation is to avoid this hotel like the plague. It is a raging dumpster fire, and the management/employees don't seem to care at all if you have a complaint. And if you see "Free Breakfast" anywhere, don't believe it. On the bright side, the AC worked well, but that was it.
