What a pleasant surprise. A great price and location. The bed and linens were all comfortable and clean. On a budget, this is a great place. Some quirks , but for the class of hotel, it was great (above average).
Wife and I made reservations a month in advance due to business I had in Olympia. We explained that our flight was arriving at 9 a.m., and was told we could most definitely get an early check in, no problem. We booked a room that was supposed to have a sliding glass door, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Upon arrival, we were told that to check in early we would have to pay 80 dollars for an early check in fee! On top of this, the room we had booked was unavailable we were told, and we ended up so far away from the WIFI that we never could get a signal. The room was so outdated, carpets worn and dirty, drapes that didn't pull open due to being broken and just a general feel of shabbiness. There were rat traps all over the property, but thank the stars we didn't actually see any. The soda machine took my money as did the other snack machine, and the front desk said to call the number on the side. At night, homeless people wandered the parking lot, there were discarded needles outside our window, and when i called the desk to say there were people shooting up right outside our window, the response was 'that seems to happen a lot'. Breakfast was ok, but we wouldn't touch anything that wasn't wrapped. After we checked out 6 days later, a charge appeared on my card for 225 dollars! I called them when we got back to Fargo, N.D. and demanded to know what the charge was for. After some hemming and hawing, we were told the charge was a mistake and it was being refunded. What if I hadn't noticed? How many other unsuspecting travelers are hit with bogus charges and don't notice? We will never stay here again.
Hubby and I were traveling and decided to spend night close of the highway, this Quality Inn was in a great location for us. The room was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were polite and helpful. They recommended a local restaurant Fish Tales which was delicious. They offer the free breakfast and the price was reasonable.
We were in Olympia to visit relatives and had only one night to stay. We chose this Quality Inn as we stayed here about 3 years ago. It is easy to get into, once you learn where to turn and don't miss it. We checked in easily. No wait. The counter clerk was tired and not too friendly, but that was ok...so were we. We had room 102 directly across from the lobby. I was worried it would be noisy, but it wasn't. It did have a musty smell and I was going to ask to change rooms, but I just didn't want to go through the hassle unless I got a headache, (allergies and such), but I didn't. This hotel has nothing really special other than it was clean, a large room, and good rates. They have a complimentary breakfast, but on a weekend, it closed at 9am, really? So we missed that. It didn't look like anything too special, so we were ok with that, but they really need to run it a little later...it was a Saturday, not a business day. The room had a very cool plug on the nightstand. I have a picture of it, but it does give off blue light so I finally had to cover it up with a pillow so I could sleep. I would stay here again, if only for a night.
Late arrival and early departure this time. Room 116 was clean and tidy. Bathroom tile was spotless, the tub had a ledge almost big enough to sit on, and the bed was restful. Breakfast choices included waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage, rolls, dry cereal or oatmeal, apple or orange juice and, of course, coffee.
This place is HORRIBLE. We came to this place on recommendation by my brother who lives near here for his wedding. The room is SUPER outdated to the point of the cheap coverlets and yellowing pillows. The towels are scratchy and some are stained. The shower handle fell off when I went to use it. It doesn't look like housekeeping has ever dusted. We were here 2 days (prepaid). Left the room at 9am and got back at 5pm. No one had touched it. Answer from the front desk clerk: no one is here to do that now. Come get your own towels. I said No! You need to empty the overflowing trash and give me a new pillowcase. Really trying not to let this crappy place overshadow my brothers wedding. Truly a BAD BAD BAD experience. Do NOT stay here!!! Plus all the homeless people walking around my rental cars and then not locking the entry doors at night is very very frustrating and a bit scary!
This hotel is just as you would expect. The room was adequate, staff polite and the breakfast convenient. We just stopped there the night before a mid-morning appointment at APHIS in Tumwater, Washington. It was a bit of a pain having to forage about the local area at dusk looking for a decent carry out meal. There really doesn't seen to be a place to have dinner within walking distance. We might have driven up from Lake Oswego, Oregon with an early start, but opted for the overnight stay. We arrived a our meeting feeling relaxed and rested. Thanks Quality.
Located right off the Interstate, this value-priced hotel is a nice place to stay. Clean rooms, very quiet, comfortable stay - very helpful staff. If I am ever driving through Olympia again, I will happily stop here again. Plenty of parking, and close to many restaurant options.
We had a late plane arrival into Seattle. The drive to Olympia was an easy drive. The hotel is located close to I5. The hotel has square pillows that I found unusual. The room has good space and the breakfast was nice. I think the filtered water in the lobby is a nice touch.
The woman at the front desk was the nicest person. she let us in half an hour early because there were rooms clean. There were plenty of towels and coffee available in the rooms. The pool looked nice but we didn't have the opportunity to use it.
