Hyatt Place Oklahoma City - Northwest

This was an excellent hotel, although a little hidden, and hard to get to. The rooms were spacious and had a large sitting room with a bar area too. Centrally located to good restaurants and bars, and local places of interest.

As a Hyatt member I typically book through their site. Orbitz was much cheaper. Then someone from the front desk called me at 3:20am to ask if the room was occupied. Crazy and a little scary to a woman traveling alone. Room was fine, breakfast was fine, but the weird call definitely would make me re-think this as an option next time.

About 75 feet from the highway, low quality remodel of a very old hotel. Room they gave me was directly across from Kitchen which they leave the door open to so about 5AM became super loud noisy and staff joking around and yelling at one point someone even slammed into my door with their body or cart or something. Thermostat present but disconnected (why?!) used controls on A/C which is either off or full blast. Definitely more of a one/two star experience. Breakfast was cold (including the hot items) at 8:00 and no bread.

Very clean and well maintained. The location is convenient to all things along Northwest Expressway and Northwest OKC (Classen Curve, Penn Square, Baptist Hospital, Lake Hefner).

Rude staff, horrible free breakfast and stale food.

Great location. Very nice experience. The breakfast, guest room, and fitness center were great! We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future. A suggestion would be to have a DVD player available to check out. Also, there were ants in the breakfast area of the food and eating areas.

I stayed at this hotel for a quick business trip. I was very impressed with the hotel and layout. I especially loved how they included breakfast for the guest. The breakfast was actually good. It was located in a good area, close to malls and close to the highway. I only had one issue and that was the AC and it was fixed right away. Great place, i encourage others to stay.

Room was very large and clean. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed at many hotels in the OKC metro area, and my experience at this location, has by far, been the best. The location is convenient, the room was very clean, and the staff were friendly, and helpful.

I needed to take an exam so they moved me to a quieter room.

Very clean, comfortable room. Friendly attentive staff. Very enjoyable.

They had complimentary breakfast every morning Which was definitely good but if you miss it there is an IHop across the lot. There were several places to eat and do things within 15minutes of every direction of the hotel. Was definitely pleasant. Would visit again.

The hotel was really great except that it was quite a distance from the downtown area. As far as peace and quiet goes, this place is heaven.

Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a suite (almost) and there was plenty of room with a little kitchenette, sink and fridge. No microwave. Huge TV which swivelled to serve either sitting area or bed. The freeway wraps around this hotel and at least 1/2 the rooms will get traffic noise. It didn't bother us (there was a white sound machine provided but that was as noisy as any traffic!). Free b'fast included a hot plate with Ok open sandwhiches--plenty of choice of cereals, oatmeal, fruit etc. hot coffee and tea selections --no complaints there. Location worked for us--a straight shot to down town on Claussen (faster than freeway which was surprising) Only issue was check in which took 2 people who seemed uncertain as to what they were doing. We had requested on line a quiet room (we knew about the freeway issue) and this request was not addressed or honored.

My room was huge (2 queen beds and a living room area) and it was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were all very helpful. The hot breakfast (which is included) had a really good selection. The "bar" is more like a counter where you can order a drink (I brought mine up to the room), it isn't like a bar in the typical sense. The location is a little far from anything. There's a restaurant close by but it was closed (NYE), but there is a Chili's around the corner. My room faced the highway but there was a white noise machine, so it wasn't an issue.

This Hyatt was a little tricky to get to, even though it is located right next to NW Expressway. After taking the Classen exit, Google maps tells you to take Batchelder and turn around, etc., etc.. but we realized on 2nd trip back, you can enter the property from behind the hotel. Our room was very comfortable, but I would recommend avoiding room _15 on each level as it is directly across from the elevator, making for a little disruptive night if you are a light sleeper. Everything else was great- nice breakfast included in price, comfortable bedding, sitting area in room, pool and bar. Enjoyed our stay.

We love this hotel because the standard rooms have a large sitting area, frig, desk to do work, and a large tv. The beds are comfortable along with the rooms.

It was extremely hard to find with even GPS, room was outdated with an old couch. aside from that my stay was ok.

Totally unexpected amenities for the price I paid. In other words, outstanding value for the price. My suggestion is that one rents a car at the Will Rogers World Airport inasmuch as a the cab and public transportation options are not ideal at this location. However, a rental car would have been a great value (I did not know this until I got to the property, unfortunately), too.

every thing good, they also have free breakfast and the free wifi.
