Ti Kouka Chalet is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Ohakune holiday home with Wi-Fi plus a spa pool! Privately located at the end of a cul-de-sac bordering the Mangawhero River walkway and adjoining reserve, this Ruapehu retreat is just a short stroll to town!

This 2 storey Ohakune holiday home includes warm and inviting open plan living downstairs with a peaceful mountain outlook... Stay toasty indoors by the fire, enjoy the views from the deck, or relax in the spa! A second living area upstairs offers uninterrupted mountain views, and ensures everyone has their space.

Upstairs at this Ohakune accommodation, bedroom 1 is fitted with a king bed, while bedroom 2 has 4 single beds... Each bedroom enjoys mountain views! Downstairs, bedroom 3 includes a Queen bed. A bathroom on each floor provides options and space for larger groups. Plus, the laundry doubles as a drying room complete with racks, lines and a heater for drying the days ski and board gear.

When you are not relaxing and admiring the tranquil surrounds at Ti Kouka Chalet, you are just a short stroll to the centre of town for Apres Ski, restaurants, and bars.

For an amazing summer getaway there is plenty to enjoy including the Tongariro Crossing, round the mountain track, and many short walks for hikers. The Wanganui River canoe and kayak adventures are another great option, and there are mountain bike trails with close access to bike hire including Old Coach Road, Fishers Track, Timber Trails and Mountain to Sea trails...

This is the perfect adventure base with a long hot soak in the spa at the end of the day, welcome to Ti Kouka Chalet!
As there is a stream at the back of the property with unfenced access, all guests should take extra care around this area and adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

While staying at the bellow Bach we realised the property has wasps inside the house. Huge wasps. One guest was stung in bed from a wasp, I myself am allergic to wasps. We had to go buy inspect spray as their was none. We killed over 30 wasps inside the house during our two night stay. One guest was so scared they slept inside the car rather than in the property. This property is currently not safe to be rented out.
