The staff are ALWAYS pleasent. The rooms are older, but they are very-very clean. The bedding is outstanding, there's a ton of TV channels. HVAC is outstanding. This is my wife and I's "go too" place at the beach. Cheap prices let us go whenever we feel the need!

The room was clean and they had all the necessities and then some. Staff was friendly. Great price. The mattress wasn't amazingly comfortable but we still slept fine. The only downside we experienced was that the trail to the beach was super muddy and was blocked by logs and debris. The trail itself may not be part of the hotel property so maybe they aren't responsible for maintaining it??

When we arrived we requested an early check in. We were disappointed because the room wasn’t ready as there was a maintenance issue with the door. It was understandable and we browsed the local shops and visited the beach for an hour. We arrived back and were able to check in. The lobby and social areas were clean and smelled like an ocean scent. It was pleasant. We brought our puppy and reserved the two bedroom suite. The room was decorated beautifully, the room was clean and the had dog blankets, towels, dishes, and a treat waiting for him. The beds were okay, they offered more than enough pillows and it was comfortable. The pool was great! My family enjoyed it. We didn’t get to experience the hot tub, that was bummer. We are excited for our next stay at the Canterbury inn!
