Room was good, but towel racks were ready to fall off wall. And hand held shower unit was good but the mount to hold it was missing which made hair washing difficult. We asked for repair but that was not possible
This motel was probably quite something back in the day. Stately grounds, mature trees and the easy access location save Motel 6 from a terrible review. Ice is available, though there are no buckets supplied to carry it to the room.
I have stayed here twice and both times I was pleased with my stay. Hotel is clean, quiet, and the staff is very nice. Any time I need a room in Ocala that is both inexpensive and comfortable, I will be returning here. Country Inn of Ocala definitely surpassed my expectations.
Hotel was beautiful and room was great however when I checked in at 5:30 pm my room wasn't ready. This was unsatisfactory given the time and check in is anytime after 3 or 4 usually. I had to wait about 15 minutes before I could officially check in.
