The morning breakfast staff and the front desk were very welcoming and accommodating. My only issue is the safety and security of my belongings at this bnb. After a day of exploring the town i come to my room to find that i am $160 USD short. I had my money very well secured in my purse and i noticed the bag that i had my money in was placed in a new location. I went to the front desk to explain the situation but obviously there was not much they could do. Overall, lesson was learned and i will never stay here again as i did not feel my belongings were safe and secure and came out of there $160 short. So anyone staying here, put your valuables in the safe, and make sure to check your belongings.

I thought the location was ideal . The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Let’s begin by saying that the hotel itself is beautiful! The architecture and interior design is probably my favorite of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. The only issue we had was that the rooms without windows (our room was one of these) smelled really bad and musky. The bathroom would get really humid and that humidity transferred into the room and made everything smell rancid. We had to buy a bottle of Devereux for our room and before we entered everytime we would open the door and let the room air out for 5-10 minutes before going in.

This is a beautiful and well-kept new hotel in an historic building in Oaxaca. Unfortunately it is not yet fully equipped as it should be, no trash cans or tissues in the rooms,we were intitially not offered the room we had reserved, no maps at the desk, some disconnect between management and service staff. These kinks can be worked out over time, but the amenities don't quite match the price at this time. And the location, while quite central to the tourist area, all the rooms with street exposure are really noisy, during the day and into the nights. It really is a beautiful restoration with lovely English speaking management and good intentions. But it has a ways to go to earn its stars.

The entire staff was amazing. These wonderful folks make you feel like family. As for the facility, it’s beautiful. The room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and the quite fan above keep us cool at night.Every morning a nice breakfast with breads, cereals and fresh fruit was set out and if you wanted something hot like Memelitas con queso y salsa de molcajete and chocolate caliente. Also located in Zone 1 which is in the center of the city. I highly recommend you stay at this BnB.

Dear Adriana, It was very unfortunate that this situation arose. As we mentioned in person, our staff has been with us for a couple of years now and no problem like this one has drones before, they are trustworthy. We have a safe in each room to avoid this type of situations, we encourage guests to use it. We work everyday to make GRANA a safe and welcoming space.
