Our second visit to this hotel within the last few weeks. Wonderful is an understatement. Staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Rooms gorgeous, especially if HH member and fortunate enough to get a room overlooking the fountain/water. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast and Evening meal in Blossoms was amazing. Lounge/bar area well set out and relaxing. Runs smoothly and efficiently, staff calm and not flustered. Cookies are a bonus !!! Cannot fault this hotel at all, can't wait for the next visit. Thank you to all the staff who were on duty during our stay, you made it what it was.

Superb stay and very good staff. The breakfast was excellent, so much choice. The location, although near a busy road was quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a free chocolate chip cookie! Will definitely stay again.

We visited for my 50th birthday, with family, including my brother who was in a wheelchair. The staff really looked after us. The menu choices were good and the food was tasty. I loved the "happy birthday" piped on my dessert plate and the glass of fizz We ate from the table d'hote menu which is great value Will definitely visit again

Easy to reach from the motorway, excellent rooms, very clean and modern, excellent breakfast lots to choice from the menu. Small gym if you need it, would of liked a spar to unwind after a hard day in office. Would stop again if I was in the area.

We stayed at the Double Tree Hilton for one night. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Pankaj on reception who was extremely helpful and swift in checking my family into their rooms and advised them of what they needed to know and handed over the famous warm hot cookies which were enjoyed by my young niece and nephew! The rooms were very comfortable and the usual high standard of cleanliness was visible. We were all on the 1st floor and were not affected by any outside noise from the road or car park. The rooms were very well insulated but should you need to open the windows you could. The sound of a water fountain outside was also very calming! Most family members enjoyed a good night sleep, I woke when a smoke alarm went off across from our room when someone had set it off, the staff were impressive and very quick to identify the room where it had been raised from and I was able to go back off to sleep. As it was the weekend it was busy in the hotel and there were two weddings taking place, there was a fair bit of noise in the reception area where people congregated and then went outside to smoke, in all there was around 20 plus people standing outside to smoke. This wasn't a problem however the smoke seemed to travel into the reception seating / bar area and this wasn't pleasant for the non smokers in our party. The breakfast buffet was excellent value as always with Hilton and this Double Tree at Nottingham Gateway didn't disappoint it was plentiful and had great choices of continental and full breakfast. The restaurant were it was served was tastefully decorated as is all of the hotel. It is only 2 years old since having its makeover and everything feels new and well cared for. The hotel staff were all very helpful and polite and we will definitely recommend this hotel if staying in this area.

We stayed here and travelled into Nottingham on a daily basis by car to go to a competition. If you do not have a car, behind the hotel is the tram stop which takes you into the city centre. The hotel is near a lovely park, the room were very clean, a spacious lobby. Breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast affair. The only down side was the hotel had a number of wedding parties going on at the same time, and this led to queues at a wait for tables at breakfast. Plus some stupid / selfish wedding guests who overloaded the lift and broke it. (not good for those with a disability) The reception staff were friendly polite and welcoming - with good knowledge of local travel arrangements and things to do. Would stay again.

We booked into the Double Tree for a family wedding and were pleasantly suprised with a free warm cookie on arrival, it was delicious, the room was very clean and was very nice with a massive walk in shower. Room service was also reasonable. Would recommend the hotel rooms but cant recommended much else as we didnt get a chance to use the restaurant. Overall a pleasant experience

Comfortable stay, good food and a great place to wind down. Rooms are completed to a high spec and there are plenty of places to relax in the lounge bar areas. The check in experience is also exceptional, they will do what ever they can to ensure your stay is ultra enjoyable

I really enjoyed my one night stay. The hotel had a pleasing look about it. Such friendliness from the staff , great service .Decided to purchase a dinner ,bed and breakfast package .What good value that proved to be .

We had to be in Nottingham very early on a Sunday morning and we wanted to be near but not too near to the M1. This is an ideal hotel if you want a base just outside the city center or want a quick getaway like we needed. It has great road links and is near a tram park and ride so you can get into the city quickly. We last stayed here a few years ago when the hotel was under a different guise. Immediately you can see the improvements not only to the decor but also to the service and quality. The hotel is smart and the rooms are spacious. We were going to travel with my daughter and booked a family room. She declined to travel with us and we ended up with a very large room, an accessibility room, which was very spacious but didn't have a bath - something we didn't mind. This is a wedding venue but we slept really well despite there being a number of wedding parties in progress. The room was tastefully decorated and included a 40 inch TV and all the usual facilities. Breakfast was really good and although we didn't eat in the restaurant, we did have food at the bar which was reasonably priced, good quality and boasted an extensive range of gluten free options including pizza. Service was amazing from check-in to check-out, breakfast and bar in between. A real improvement since our last visit. A slick hotel. Well done Hilton.
