Everything was very good except that our room was not cleaned after our second night. There was no house keeper to clean so the reception had to bring us toilet rolls and water etc. Not a good situation.

It was a very busy weekend at the hotel with a pre-booked 30 Rottweiler dog show, we were there for a different reason. I cannot understand why they didn’t have more staff on. Loads of glasses/plates left in the corridor untidied for over 24 hours, reception not answering their phone, not enough wine glasses. The food was variable, some excellent some terrible. Such a shame as the hotel itself is lovely. All newly decorated, lovely spa, great location. Just simple things like staff levels makes such a difference to a stay.

Booked this hotel so we could use the pool facilities. Arrived to be told it was full with 10 people already waiting and that children couldn’t use it at this time. (Have checked the website and children could acces the pool until 6pm on a Saturday so this information was incorrect).
