We were vacationing and visiting with local friends for a six-night stay for a first visit to Norwich. We felt very fortunate to have chosen the Maid's Head Hotel for its location, service, and comfort.
Our original room already had guests and the hotel was slow to correct the situation. Once that was done, we had a very pleasant stay. The building is large with several wings and can be confusing, but the services were fine and we enjoyed our visit.
We checked in but found our two rooms so hot that we could not stay. They had fans in the rooms, but since the windows did not open more than two inches, the fan just moved extremely warm air.
