The staff was extremely friendly and patient. The hotel shuttle driver Walter gave us his number to call direct while we were out in the local area. He also made a special trip to surprise my 4 year old daughter with a ice cream cake for her birthday. I would stay at this location again in a heartbeat. This hotel is also close to the Rosslyn metro station.

Very good price for location and amenities. The free weekday shuttle to the metro station was convenient unless you wanted to be out later than 9PM. Cheap breakfast was also a bonus.

Great hotel. Shuttle avaliable to the metro. Very conveniently located.

This is an okay hotel, and the price was right for my overnight stay. However, as a former travel warrior, I've stayed in many hotels and overall, this one is middle of the road. The place although very clean, is overdue for a quality renovation. Even though the paint and other maintenance is up-to-date, the quality of the workmanship is poor at best. Very poor quality paint jobs, sloppy caulking in the bathroom, and a lack of attention to detail with whatever maintenance work that has been done. The staff is very professional, courteous and responsive, but the facility needs a quality upgrade. If you're not that worried about such details and the price is within your budget, the place is conveniently located near Arlington National Cemetery (a 5 minute ride in rush hour traffic) and you won't be disappointed. It's nice overall, and I'm being picky about details, because there are other choices out there, but this place is convenient, and the suites offer everything you need for an extended stay. The nearest subway station is about a 20 minute walk, if you like to use DC's very good rail system.

Curteous, friendly, knowledgable staff. Affordable considering its proximity to everything you need. We mentioned it was my husbands birthday and they sent us champagne! I will be staying there every time I go to DC.

Arlington national cem is withing walking distance. Hotel was fine, didn't like that that charge you $15 a night for parking, when parking on the street is free.

This hotel is very great. The staff were friendly, and very nice. The location itself maybe a bit difficult to get too, but once you find it then it is all worth it. Upon entering there are complimentary cookies, lemonade, and coffee. There is also a vending machines for snacks, and sodas. Everything was very clean, and up to par. The parking is $14.00 per night, so keep this into consideration when booking. Everything was great, and the only thing I regret was not staying longer.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was closed so not good for the kids. Breakfast was ok. But room was very comfortable and spacious. Wouls stay again.

The rooms is really good. However, I noticed that some staffs were using the customer elevator to during room service. I hope they can have another elevator for their employees.

It is what it is a converted apartment building with a kitchen. Nothing fancy but clean.

Hotel is in a great location. We did not have a car during the stay and found this very convenient. There is shuttle service to the train, although the hotel is only a few blocks from the train station. There is train service to the capitol and museums. There was also a small market within walking distance. They also had shuttle service to a couple of larger grocery stores. The 1 bedroom suite was a great size and had all the amenities. Clean and well kept.

I was staying longer than usual in DC and also paying expenses on a limited budget, so this hotel was a good fit. A bit of walking or using the shuttle is required to get to the metro and amenities at the hotel and in the immediate neighborhood are modest, but make alternate plans for these and the Virginian is a good value.

We have always been in Arlington to see our daughter and son-in-law. It is very convenient and very reasonably priced with older but excellent facilities. They have been flexible with changes we have required due to family emergency issues. Staff is extremely friendly. Only change I would make would be to include some hot breakfast items such as what Hampton Inn provides.

great place, wont look for anywhere else to stay now that I've stayed here

Staff was really helpful. The shuttle took us to the metro and to/from a local restaurant. The kitchen saved us money on a few meals.

A Decently good stay, did't spend that much time in the hotel; tis a night to explore and have fun in Arlington. Hotel was close to clubs, movies and a hop across the Rt. 50 bridge to the Monuments

I have stayed here on several occasions, from short-term to a couple of weeks, solo and with family and pets. Every experience has been great. It is perfect if you want a kitchen, which is stocked with all things you'd need to cook, with a decent-sized refrigerator. And the room size is very nice, with huge closets and plenty of storage space. The check-in folks are great, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are always nice and clean. The *only* real complaint I have is that their door does not automatically open, so when you have bags it can get tricky, and they have several stairs that you must climb just to get to the elevator. Again, very tricky when you have a bag, kids, etc. But, they will carry them up for you. There is a great kids' park just across the street, some of the rooms have pretty views, and the location is just off of Hwy 50. Not the closest to restaurants, I wouldn't say that Rosslyn has the best food choices, but there are places, mostly for the lunch crowd, and it is walkable if you don't have a car. The Metro shuttle is very convenient and they take you to the grocery store! Nice old building with this walls, keeping the neighbors' sound to a minimum.

Virginian Suites is conveniently close to the Rosslyn Metro stop, which links you to almost anywhere in the DC area. The hotel provides free shuttle to and from the Metro. Free breakfast and coffee all day are included. The hotel has a smallish gym and a nice pool. The area is very safe. All rooms include a small kitchen, and there is a Safeway supermarket in walking distance. The hotel has a self-service coin laundry (you'll need quarters). Staff members are very nice & helpful.

One needed a Voucher in order to enjoy breakfast in the morning. What a disappointment! Gym was super small and basic. It was also so noisy throughout the evening and night.

I was so surprised at the great location of this hotel for the price! It was right across the bridge from DC. We did a trolley tour both days we were there which we were able to hop on from Arlington National Cemetery very close by (10 min walk). The room was large w/a cute little kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very happy w/this hotel!
