Rooms open on garden or balcony, they are clean and quiet. No elevator for the upper floors, but they have ground floor rooms too. Breakfast is very good, they also prepare lunch bags if you need. Always make sure any extra gets marked to the right room, because at checkout they will not be able to modify any of the meal or drinks assignments for printing the invoice.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I would call it a motel rather than a hotel. Good breakfast , English, continental and cereals. Had evening drinks in the bar.Staff all spoke English and were by helpful.. Good carparking. Easy to find. Down points for me was no air conditioning, shutters on window which had to stay closed as there was only nets on window, no curtains.

Parking area is good and looks safe. Checking in is ok, directed to our room in the next block, the access is scruffy, looks like there might have been work going on at top level, the room is dated but clean. We had a beer, ate in and enjoyed some good local cuisine. Breakfast was adequate and enough. First time in an campanile, at the right price for a one night stopover. Not so sure I would stay any longer.

Spent three nights here. Rooms are plain, but clean and comfortable. Restaurant is good, but there is a sashimi place down the road and a van Der valk hotel round the corner. Staff are really friendly and will do anything to help. Good base for my business trip into Germany, Holland and Belgium

this was only meant to be a bed for a night after leaving Dover at lunchtime on the way to Austria, and was very happy we only had to spend a few waking hours there. From the front it looked quite nice however the room was very old and tired, and despite the website saying there was food available on saturday's, this was not the case, so we had to go 2 miles down the road to a mcdonalds. not what you want after a 5 hour car journey with a 5 year old at 9 pm, I won't be returning to campanile and will stick with ibis

Has the usual Campanile facilities, it's basic but reasonably comfortable and clean. It's situated close to the E34 motorway, so not in the town centre, which is about 3km away. Check in was a little unusual in that I had to show my passport for some reason. My room was the usual Campanile style. It's not luxurious, but neither was the price. I got it for about €45 / night including breakfast (which was lucky, I think) which wasn't much more than camping and you get a proper toilet! There's no air-con, apparently the upper floors get hot in summer. Breakfast was acceptable for the price. I ate one meal and was suprised that it was okay. It's a motel, get it at the right price and you'll be content.

We have been at this hotel. The room was old and broken, no lift, we had to carry our lugage to the first floor passing a terrible stair. The price was only 63eur which was a good oportunity but the breakfast had a cost of extra 11 eur for a couple extra 22 eur. For this price you get 4 star Hotels in the Area. You can never give more than 2 stars, and this for the reason that that lunch area was confortable. We intended to stay 5 nights and left after the first night. The smell of the old was not suportable. The lights in the room did not work and no fridge..: I recomend this Hotel to nobody.

On our way to France we wanted a clean, not too expensive hotel with good beds close to the motorways. This is exactly what we got at Campanile. We were greeted by a young man who was very efficient and nice. To reach the room we had to walk a flight of steps as there was no elevator. No problem for us, but could be good to know if you have a lot of luggage to carry. The room was rather small, but was clean and had all the necessities, including a good bathroom. The wi-fi worked fine. The only thing that bugged me was that the soap dispenser was put in a place in the bathroom that made it impossible to use without getting soap on the floor. It was about half an hour walk into the city centre, which I would recommend for dinner – there were plenty of restaurants. We had a good night's sleep and weren't bothered at all by light or sound. Breakfast was included in the price (49 € – a room with two beds) and was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for a short visit. If I was to stay longer or knew that I would spend more time in the room I would choose another place with bigger rooms.

Very cheap in price very good Bar and food very clean like a motel more than what I expected for what we paid staff very friendly very helpful all in all excellent experience you will not be disappointed try the beer I think it's called blonde lovely

I stayed here a night at the beginning of July,on a not really that warm day,but the room was boiling! The window because of the set up could only be opened a tiny few cms. It would help if the hotel/motel had the metal shutter down all the time so the sun doesn't beat in during the daytime, and surply a fan to help. Taking that a side the room is more than fine, clean and roomy and ok for a night. I would also surggest asking for a ground floor room,i was placed on the 2nd floor with no lift and with a heavy bag and 72yr old it wasn't ideal! I picked this hotel for the late check out time as I knew I would be arriving late, and I also paid the extra for breakfast, which turned out to be a waste as the breakfast finshed at 9.30am, which I think is far too early,as getting up dressed etc in time to get there would have meant that I couldn't have the lie in that I so needed after a long drive. And less than 5mins drive away is a shopping area, and kfc,and the town centre 10 mins drive is a lovely place and of course don't forget a vist to koala for some of the best chips ever! Venlo will still be one of my fave places to visit but I don't think because of the heat in the room and lack of sleep it caused I wouldn't be picking this hotel again.
