When booking through Priceline we got an excellent rate! Hotel offers smoking rooms, has an elevator as well as a luggage Cady available for your use. For $40.00 you can't beat it. Rooms are a bit dated. Was a quiet stay. Vending machines expensive! Continental breakfast, lacking in choice.

Just a basic one night stay. It was close off the highway which is why I chose it. The breakfast was very basic, the room was basic but clean. I wouldn't stay here again unless desperate. Thankful it was just me traveling solo this time.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and this is the worst one yet. The air conditioner in our room didn't work , was going to open the window but it didn't have a screen , ice machine on our floor didn't work. Paid for a double queen room and got a 2 double beds. Travel to Youngstown 3 or 4 times a year and won't be staying here again. I stayed here in the past because they take dogs but the grass is covered in broken glass and garbage.

I stayed here with a larger dog because it was pet friendly and within 8-10 minutes drive of Canfield's fairgrounds. This had the exact layout of a Microtel Inn if you've stayed in one before. There's not much within walking distance, but found a few restaurants and convenience stores 1-3 miles away. There's enough grass to walk your dogs, but much of it has tall, weedy grass, so you were a bit sequestered to certain small areas. Check-in was a bit slow, but the manager assisted the clerk and was very friendly. Room was on the third floor which is a pain carting a lot of stuff in and out, but they had the luggage trolleys right there to help. The one queen bed room is VERY small. I had a VERY hard time setting up a large dog cage because there was simply no floor space. However, despite other reviews of uncleanliness, my room and bathroom was spotless, was cleaned every day and smelled fine. There was a window ledge, large closet area and a few drawers for storage. The desk & chair was helpful to put my stuff on along with the little night stands. The fridge and microwave were both clean and in good working order. The bathroom was clean, but with sparse amenities (it IS a budget hotel) only soap and one shampoo. The towels were smaller, but clean and fresh. There was enough counter space to place your personal items. The shower temperature and pressure was great. The bed was comfortable enough with decent pillows, clean bedding and comforter. The A/C worked great with no issue. The hotel was quiet enough, but you could definitely hear the guests in the hallway. The breakfast area was very small, but had the basics like breads, pastries, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee. The area wasn't spotless clean, but had enough variety to grab a few items and go. Checkout was quick and accurate. Overall, the staff was pleasant, hotel overall quiet, very clean and had all the basics I needed for a quick, budget stay. I'd definitely come back, but would ask for a larger room.

It's pretty standard fare here, it's not a Ritz Carlton but ive stayed in much worse. Nothing was wrong with it, it just had all the feelings of a second-rate hotel: a little musty, tight lobby, underwhelming decor. That's kind of what you should expect at this price point, so I was ok with it. Staff was nice, had a couple interactions, all good.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, but that's not enough to get me back there. The room had a terrible odor, probably because of the filthy rug, bad plumbing, and excessive mold and mildew. Twice in four days we had to,request room cleaning because it didn't happen routinely. The room was never vacuumed, and once they didn't even clean the toilet. Never again!

Worth the price, but know this is not a 5-star hotel. The carpet had not been swept when we moved in and, because we were staying 3 nights, I asked them to make sure it was done the next day. No problems after that.

We stayed here four days for the Canfield dog shows, and we were very happy with the quiet location and clean, inviting room. I had a queen suite which was very spacious. Housekeeping was wonderful and the room was immaculate each day after I returned from the show. There is a lot of grass to walk dogs. The hotel is close to several great local restaurants. This is my second stay here, and I plan to stay again next year.

Just returned from a three night stay. Positives-excellent front desk staff. Great location. Room was well equipped with micro, fridge, TV and lots of storage space. But one of the chairs at my little dinette table was broken and I nearly fell sitting down on it. Negatives: My room was never made up in 3 nights, and I even left the "Maid please clean up this room" tag on my door. Ran out of towels, coffee, cups, garbage never emptied. Phone in room didn't work. Landscaping and grounds leaves much to be desired. If you are a pet friendly place it helps if you mow the grass and areas around where you want people to exercise their dogs. Long grass and many weeds. Overall hotel lobby and hallways are clean and neat looking. Dining area seems dingy and was never very cleaned during breakfast. Breakfast items universally stale, especially cereal and breakfast rolls. Also management needs to supervise the back parking lot a little more-it is disconcerting to come out in the evening to walk your dog and find a group of men standing around the parking lot smoking and drinking beer, and who knows what else.

This place is old and dirty but the worst part of our stay was the surprise waiting for us in the toilet. Someone took a dump earlier and forgot to flush. One can only assume that, had the bathroom/toilet been cleaned properly, we would not have this experience. It was obvious the carpets had not been vacuumed either and the tub had a huge stain that the staff tried to cover up with a worn out, dirty tub mat which we didn't see until the next morning. The only plus was that the bed was comfortable and clean. Had we not arrived so late at night and been so tired, we surely would have left to find cleaner accommodations.
