Booked through hotels.com and the room type was wrong although they managed to resolve this issue at the hotel. Breakfast was good and the service was excellent. Overall good value for the service provided.

This is a hotel I have been visiting for a few years now. with the arrival of the new Manager Kons it has stepped up to its best ever level of quality and service. From the greeting by Sarah on the front desk to the restaurant service by Katie and Liga not forgetting the ever helpful Pasquale, Kathy and Flora at breakfast. this really is a comfortable place to stay. well done to all

I visited here for one night on business. The hotel is what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn, comfortable, clean, good facilities. I ordered room service but I had to order from reception as my phone in the room was not working, but that wasn't a problem. The lady at reception took my order but after an hour of waiting I still had no food. I went back to reception and it seemed there had been some confusion. Within 15 mins I had my food, personally delivered by the manager as he admitted it was his mistake. He could not have apologised more and did not charge me for my food. Mistakes happen, but it's how the hotel fixes it that's a true mark of their customer service. I was very impressed and thought the service was superb.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn here for one night only as we were passing through. The foyet was lovely, walked straight in to be greeted by a well stocked bar and friendly staff. The girl on reception took the time to let us know that between 7 and 8pm, a coach party would be expected if we wanted to plan our evening around these times. On entering the room it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. As we got to the restaurant with our party, two of us asked if there was a vegan option. The restaurant meet and greet man, Pasquale came to us and explained he understood and would we like him to arrange a vegetable curry with no milk or butter. I was amazed. I've been to some top restaurants with much less understanding. They served us all extremely good food, some of us omni, some of us vegan, all extremely pleased with our selection. They went more than the extra mile and I will be posting this on all my vegan sites. Thank you for a lovely, welcoming stay.

No concerns. Always treated well on many times staying. The staff are friendly and will go above and beyond. Bringing me different bedding late due to having a baby who was refluxy Ect. Always very helpful.

We managed to book this as last minute, having been let down on another website booking - wow what luck! The staff were lovely and welcoming, after booking in we tried out the pool/steam room/sauna & jacuzzi which was very relaxing. We decided to have tea in the restaurant and met a 'little gem', Chelsea. I initially thought the pricing was slightly high however once I saw my meal (mohito chicken) and the portion size followed by tiramasu, I decided well worth every penny. Fab breakfast as well to set us up for the day. If I could pick a fault our room could have done with a second comfy chair-maybe it was set up a business person trip, otherwise had everything we needed. Would def recommend to anyone and would love to go back

We stayed here last year just before a refurbishment took place and as an IHG member, decided to make this hotel our base this year as well. How did it fare since the refurbishment? Well its a difficult one to review... We stayed in an Executive room again this year and these appeared to have been moved from the lower ground floor to the first floor. The room felt smaller than last year but it is difficult to gauge with the location change. The dining area in the room was definitely more compact. That said, the room was modern, clean and everything worked as it should. The bath has been removed from these rooms now so you are just left with a shower.. albeit a big shower. The shower has a "non slip" floor to it now which is actually a pretty good idea even if it seems trivial. The bathroom itself is quite small and the water pressure was not overly high in it either but it did its job fine when in use. Room service and food was very good on the two occasions we ordered it. The first evening we had a young lad called Calvin (I think it was) who was in training. Really pleasant guy who was very prompt in sorting a miscommunication with payment out. The staff as always really are a credit to this hotel. From the staff on reception to those who work around the building. Always a hello or a smile from them. Little things like that go a long way. I gave the hotel a 4 star review last year and due to the exceptional staff I feel it holds that rating.

I stay in Norwich fairly regularly with work and have been slowly trying out the list available on the corporate booking site. Read some good reviews on here so gave this holiday inn a shot. The positive reviews all me ruined the staff. After staying here I'm going to do exactly the same. Everyone who works here is really friendly and all have a smile on their face. So much so it's almost infectious. Really enjoyed my one night because of this and the hotel itself was good . I used the pool which was pleasant to stretch out after long drive (they had a trampoline class on the grass outside that looked fun but I'd only brought swimwear). The room was clean and tidy, fairly modern with a comfy bed. The restaurant was also ok. Overall a good stay.

I have just stayed at this hotel for 5 nights on business, the hotel staff made me so welcome. The food was fantastic as were the facilities. I would especially like to thank, Kons, Kathy, Chelsea, Katie and Michaela.

Very pleasant staff and the hotel facilities were as expected. However, hotel room door opening system (card swipe) failed to operate throughout our three nights stay. Very inconvenient and frustrating. Nothing was done to rectify the problem. On the last evening it was suggested we might like to move to a different room. Not terribly helpful.
