We stayed here the night of a EuroCup match and were pleased with our experience. The hotel is a 10 minute easy walk to the stadium, our room was clean and quite large, and the bed was actually very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and we slept very well. For the price, the breakfast in the morning was adequate. We even enjoyed a few beers on the grapevine covered patio in the afternoon. We had no complaints other than wishing the windows opened. The staff were very helpful and professional.
The price you pay for a room is in no relation to what you get. The room was sooo tiny you could barely move. The bathroom is like a little closet. In the shower you could not even turn yourselve without ripping the curtain open. Also you have to pay extra for the breakfast. The breakfast is really poor. They didn't even have eggs.
We stayed here as part of a tour so the accommodation was all booked for us. I would not stay here at all!! The rooms were the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel, barely enough room for the bed and our suitcases. The bathroom was awful and the water from the tap and shower smelt really bad. The shower was broken so had to ask to get it fixed. The air con was very noisy and old. The service was not great. Plenty of other hotels to chose from so stay away from this one.
It's location is a little out the way. But there are plenty of bus routes just outside. It was basic but clean. Not the comfiest of beds and bedding but again it was clean. Staff were helpful showing us where to catch which bus. Wifi worked well Breakfast was ok Probably the type of hotel you can do one night in.
The hotel is situated into a quiet and clean neighborhood, about 10 minutes far from the beach and 5 minutes from Carefour. You can also reach the beach by bus, the ticket costs 1,50 euro/person. The bus station is in front of the hotel. The hotel offers free parking and good wireless connection. If you are going to visit a lot, a place to sleep, a hot shower and a toilet it's all that you need. If you are intended to spend much time in the hotel room, than it isn't an appropriate decision. The room is very small, barely have place to move around the bed, the wardrobe only for one person's clothes (mine, of course) and no refrigerator!!!! The breakfast costs 7 euro (1 croissant, 1 glass of orange juice and 1 coffee), things that you can buy from Carefour at half of price. The hotel stuff is OK, very friendly and helpful. I recomend you to take a ride on the Rue de Belgique and Rue de Paris (the ghetto near the railway station) than you will see it could have been worse!
This is by far the worst hotel i've ever been!!!We chose this hotel because we wanted something cheap for one night.we didnt mind that it was outside the city. When we got there it looked ok but when we got in the rooms we faced a filthy carpet(probably vomet)and we had to change the room.About half an hour later we heard someone trying to unlock the door but by the time we got there he was gone.Later the same thing!!!Then we realised that the doors unlock very easy even if you have locked from the inside!!!We went to the reception to complain and they didnt speak english and didnt say anything. Also the bed propably had bugs because we were all scratching!!!Generaly the worst experience!!
Starting from the entrance of thehotel,i felt that this is unfriendly and cold.As i reached my floor the wall around me was like wreck.Additionally the doors was soooo filthly that i didnt want to get into the room. When we opened the door i saw the carpet having a big stain that made you feel grose. The toilet was not clean and the inside part brown and disgusting. As i pulled the bin i found papers behind it.The walls was full of moold. The equipment of the room was not sufficient. One towel for each person.!!!all those and much more for almost 100 euros!!!no way!!!
Very unpleasant experience, old hotel with small rooms faaaaarr away from nice, noise in the night from the motorway , yes it has free internet and parking, but with this price you can find better hotels in this area: don't go
We were stranded late at night with a choice of driving another three hours to our destination, hungry, tired, or take a stop off and arrive fresh in the morning. We stopped at several roadside motel-type places, all wanting around two hundred Euro for a family room! No way. We had pillows in the car and were all but set to continue the drive, when I said I'll try one more. It was after midnight, the night porter offered us a room for E80. We took it. Corridors dated and worn, walls grubby..we were apprehensive... Room: Three beds, fresh linen, clean towels, functioning shower, two cold pints of beer in the room , ....all we needed. It was surprisingly quiet, despite its location. Next morning we had gorgeous coffee and pastries in a cafe just up the road into the village. All happy for the remainder of the trip.
Reception staff not always as help as they could have been. Restaurant closed at weekends. Room not particularly clean with insects quashed on the wall and dust on ledges. we had to request a change of rooms. In the first room the shower cubicle doors didn't close. The hotel is rather tired looking and in need of refurbishment. I feel that for the price we paid we could have got better room elsewhere in the area.
