Lovely mansion. In the queen room it's a superb space. Could improve in small things: should have extra roll of toilet paper; should have box of tissues; armoire door hinge needs adjustment; containers of screws and hinges shouldn't be in room or stairwell at all; Windows need washing inside and out; other family and guests should've been sent to bed at 11 pm. We heard talking and traffic up and down stairs until midnight. Pool wasn't useable so I asked for and was given a discount. Wifi is weak. Property outside is unkempt. New owner is trying very hard and each request is immediately acted on to improve. I don't think she's ever run a B&B before. This place will house students at nearby Ridley College. Breakfast was huge with scrambled eggs, cheese, muffins, scones, fresh fruit. Juice was watered down and awful. Tea was weak Chinese leaves. Overall very enthusiastic service with some learning to be done to be excellent.

My wife and I recently stayed two nights here on business. We have stayed at any number of hotels/B&Bs in quite a number of places, and this is perhaps the most home-like experience we're ever had. Peter is an excellent host, and the rooms are lovely and well appointed. Bring your appetite to breakfast!

Stayed in August 2015. No cons to think of..... 1. Great pool. 2. Amaaaaaaaaazing breakfast. 3. Nice rooms with antique touches. 4. No complaints about the cleanliness of the house, rooms, sheets, and towels. 5. The couple who run it are really nice and not overwhelming. 6. The family next door uses the pool sometimes. We got to meet them and they're swell.

This house has beautiful gardens, lovely rooms and the most amazing breakfast! It was very relaxing and wonderful to relax by the pool after a day of exploring the vineyards. The location is great with easy access to many attractions without being in the crowded touristy area. Many thanks to our hosts Peter and Teresa!

Really enjoyed my brief stay. Warm hospitality, charming rooms and fabulous breakfast. Peter and Teresa (and the cat Dexter) will make you feel at home. I stayed in the Bach room filled with lovely antiques.

Teresa and Peter are gracious hosts and 37 Henrietta is a terrific home away from home. We (my husband and I) have stayed here two or three times now over the past few years and we love it. We just returned home after being there for one week and I have to say we were extremely spoiled during our stay. Delicious breakfasts, very comfortable bedding, a spacious and sunny room (we always stay in room #1), terrific conversations, and the list goes on. 37 Henrietta is actually the house that my father grew up in (many years ago) so it is an absolute treat to stay here when we come for a visit.

I went with friends for a bachelorette party. They were very accommodating. We rented all the rooms and had access to the gorgeous back garden and pool. We hung out and drank wine we bought on our wine tour. There was a lovely breakfast the morning after. The rooms were great and there were beautiful rooms to hang out in together. Perfect.

Stayed for three nights, and wish it could have been longer. Rooms completely equipped, A/C, huge delicious breakfast [beautifully presented], pool available in garden, and lovely landscaping. Peter and Teresa know the area well and give good directions. Well worth the fee! Next to a private college, easy to go for a walk. Went to a vineyard wedding, and saw My Fair Lady at Shaw! Wine tasting , shopping , parks, lakes- this area has it all. Niagara Falls is 45 min. away.

Our family recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Ridley Gate Manor, occupying all 3 of their guest rooms. Teresa and Peter were interesting, amiable and helpful hosts. Their home is very comfortable and inviting, in a neighbourhood ideal for lovely walks. The grounds feature a swimming pool, lily pond and expertly tended gardens. Best of all were Peter’s wonderful, extensive breakfasts, beautifully presented in the formal dining room. We highly recommend this B&B.

My husband and booked Ridley Gate Manor for a night away. We were thrilled by our experience. Or host was kind and bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our stay. It was boxing day, and finding an open eatery in St. Catherine's seemed impossible. Peter called around for over an hour before finding an open restaurant. Our room was had a four poster bed, beautiful antique armoir, fireplace to keep us cosy, and a deep claw footed tub that we took full advantage of. The next morning we were treated to delicious breakfast including: apple cinnamon-sugar muffins, and flax bread we just had to take home. We will definately return for a stay in the future.
