Good property to stay and excellent location! Easily walkable to Falls and right next to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is pricey but restaurant view has both American and Horseshoe Falls visible.
It is near everything you would like to see. Rainbow bridge, bird kingdom, clifton hills,
Location to nearby attractions. Character feels like an older classic hotel. Liked everything about the venue.
The room was comfortable and the view was really great. The gym was closed, and I couldn’t call the front desk from the land line in the room to request directions to operate the TV.
Parking was $42.68 (Canadian). Rooms were located on perimeter of indoor swimming pool. Lots of noise. Could not buy a soda after workout at the hotel. No vending machines. Taxes were very high...as much as 22% at nearby convenience store!
Great location on the waterfront - easy access to Niagara activities. Currently under external renovations.
The rooms are small and quite old. The entire building was hot - clearly the AC units cannot keep up. Our room was hotter than the hallway or the outdoors - maintenance came to repair it but it was still too warm. The front desk told us they couldn't "guarantee anything" every time we spoke with them. They couldn't guarantee we would see the falls (we paid for a room with the falls view), they couldn't guarantee that they could make to room cool or even get us a new room if it wasn't fixed - what kind of service is that? The window to see the falls was very small and a bit disappointing - it was nice to cram in to see the fireworks at 10 pm though. Overall I'd recommend staying elsewhere.
Great location, walking distance to the Falls and Clifton hill. Front desk staff was not helpful or informative. Went to the hotel pool, only to find a sign it was closed for reservations and to check with front desk for options. Feel as though that is something that should have been notified prior to our stay or at the very least during our check in. Hotel is old, rooms are small and need updating.
Not like what is advertised on the website. Towel is dirty, old and smelly.
A beautiful old hotel that they have kept in wonderful shape!
We were sent to two wrong rooms that the keys didn’t work in first and then asked for a new room and were sent to a room that was the size of a closet. The carpet was dirty, the sink was rusty and the bed was hard as rock. There was also a horrible musty smell and no fan in the bathroom. We will never be going back to this hotel!
Great hotel
