We had paid for 4 nights but only stayed here for 1 night . Management kicked us out because I spoke my mind. We got there Thursday to a run down hotel. Friday morning they shut the power off for no reason I got mad about it. We went out and came back at 2:30 room was still not cleaned said something about that and got the run around that they had until 3pm that came by and still no one came and cleaned. Worst staff I have ever dealt with. It is not worth 150 dollar plus a night. We left and would not recommend this place at all. If you want stay a very nice hotel stay at Comfort inn on Dunlap. Clean quiet friendly staff thank you Comfort Inn.
We chose Canada's Best Value Inn once again when visiting friends and family. They have done some nice updates in the rooms. Very clean and comforting atmosphere. The staff are great, from Manny at the front desk to Monique who cleans the rooms, they are all friendly and professional and make you feel very comfortable. I will say, however, that I do agree with a previous review which mentioned the awkwardness of getting in and out of the bathtub. A grab bar would really help a person feel safer and avoid possible injuries. We would stay again, but next time I will bring my own suction cup grab bar from home. Thanks for another pleasant stay!
I have to say first time stay at Canada Best Value Inn located in St. Catharines, Ontario was a amazing experience, minus the little hiccup, but the staff was fast to fit it. With the stay there for 2 nights, the room was clean and inviting and I can't say enough about the staff. The staff was always friendly and made sure we always had everything we needed during the stay. Next time in St. Catherine, we will be staying there again. Thank you to the staff for a great experience!
High quality motel, very close to everything St Catharines has to offer. Has very good prices (best value) during the off peak times. Staff very friendly. Pool is outdoors and large. Parking lot is big. Hotel rooms are big.
I found the rooms to be very clean, the staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice hot showers, good AC; Good price point, great convenient location. Stayed here for a few weeks, and came back for a second stay due to the great staff. I would highly recommend a stay here very highly!
As we told your cashier the bathtub had NO grab bars, so accordingly slips in the bathtub could happen causing serious injury to your guest. Also, a short person in the tub would not even be able to grab the curtain bar. VERY dangerous.
Room was clean, location was favorable for us. I reserved for 2 days, but due to a family emergency had to leave on the morning of the 2nd day. Even though the contract stated that cancellations required 24 hours, they honored my request and did not charge me for the 2nd night... they also went above and beyond to call me back to let me know that there was no charge. I will be coming back again, because good customer service deserves to be acknowledged. Thank-you!
We booked a room during an emergency and the staff was EXTREMELY friendly, kind, and helpful. The room itself was shockingly nice for the price you pay. It felt as if we had walked into a luxury hotel. The outside appearance of the building is extremely clean and modern, which made is very welcoming. The front office is large and very nice. The room itself appeared to have been newly renovated (or just that nice!) and everything in the room was VERY clean. The room itself even smelled clean and all the appliances and electronics in the room worked great, and we actually ended up in a room with a smart TV. The beds were also extremely comfortable and warm. If we are ever in this area again, this will he where we go to stay. We are thoroughly impressed and definitely recommend!
First the good, Location, right next to thr QEW. Clean where it it had to be, such as bed, floor (vinyl), bathroom sink, toilet, marble shower walls, and NO bed bugs (we checked all over and around the bed before we unpacked. It was pretty quiet, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and accommodating. The bad, rooms, furniture, hallways and fixtures (closet racks, lugggage rack, doors, curtains) are in a desperate need of updating. The bathtum was a yellowis whiteThe chairs and paint on the walls look liked new, back in 1985. The hotel is WELLl worn in. The bathroom door could not be closed due to all the screws were stripped out. I was able to hand turn the door bolts, and get 2 of 6 to hold door in place. The other screws were stripped,Hallway walls were beat up, and a paint job would not make things better, due to the dents and rough surfaces. There was a smell in the air, like cleaning product, or like Febreze. You could taste the odor in the air. NO breakfast, but they did have coffee.
I was in town on business. I normally don’t stay in motels but it was so close to the conference centre and offered the best rate. The staff were pleasant my room was well kept, clean, comfortable it was well worth the price I would stay here again.
