Evason Ana Mandara is a charming property along the beach in Nga Trang by the Six Senses. The only one along the stretch that has direct access to the water, the establishment is one of the oldest (if not oldest) in the group's portfolio. The Pavilion is helmed by a local Chef who has been there since the start and is fuelled with passion and love for all things Ana Mandara. The Pavillion offers local Vietnamese fare (best in Nga Trang) and the Beach House showcases more international fare. The spa is by the famous Six Senses with the same service and therapies found worldwide. Located on the main street, it's easy to walk the area and explore.
The good: the staffs were friendly and spa was nice. The bad: accommodations were not great, room was ok, nothing special. The place felt outdated and not as nice as pictured. Smoking from other room and noises caused us to have an unpleasant time. No one asked us how we feel after checking out. Save your money and stay elsewhere. Won’t be back.
Rooms a bit noisy near the road. Nice beach front location but food and drink over priced given the quality and the fact that it’s Vietnam. Staff generally friendly although security staff overly officious - moved my son and his girlfriend on from sun beds when they came to see us from their nearby hotel even though they had bought drinks and ice creams
Well deserved 5 stars service! We spent 6 days in Nha Trang for honeymoon. Evason Ana Mandara Resort well exceeds my expectation. It is one of the few resorts which owns private beach to enjoy the sunshine and gourmet food. The staffs cared so much our well being, such as reminding us to drink more water. And each water bottle dated the date of filling-in to make sure our drinking water is fresh. There is also a pilllow menu for us to choose for our best sleeping quality. The best part of our trip is to stay with Evason!
We stayed for 4 days in Evason Ana Mandara and it's memorable. We first had our welcome drink with passion fruit sorbet at the reception while waiting for our room to be ready. Our room was well prepared with rambutan fruits and some snacks. Best part is they gave us a housekeeping form to fill up our needs in the room eg: eye masks, ear plugs, duvet quilt..etc and also you can choose what scents you preferred (housekeeping will placed the aroma bag under your pillow in the evening). There are 2 pools in the resort and six senses spa to relax your body. Although the beach are not totally private but it seems that the crowds is lesser on our side. The breakfast is ok..alternately change for some food and the seaside view is magnificient. The coffee choices are very impressive. And we love the evening cocktail to welcome the new guests. The resort located in the center of the city and do bare in mind on the noises. Thank goodness the room's soundproof is pretty good although honking is unavoidable but it's still bearable. Walking distance to foods but 99% all tourists prices. Probably need to walk about 40mins to some local restaurants and streets food. 30 mins walk to Vincom Plaza where you can find supermarket and Phuc Long coffee. Anyway, grab car is available in anytime so no worries, just grab! There are some mini marts across the resort about 5 mins walk. We have just a small issue during check-out as they told us that we consume a beverage in our room but we didn't so after a check they allow us to check out. A front desk recept (a plump specky girl) sounds a bit aggressive but i guess is her way of communicating. Not a problem tho. The only concern i think is to avoid outsiders to enter the resort premise, pool sides, beach bench & jetty. Overall, it's a beautiful resort! And i would rather stay in a good resort than walking outside with thousands of tourists on the road.
This is my second Asia trip this year (I was in Vietnam this past March for 8 days) and I had 2 of my staff with me and I wanted them to see the beaches so we flew down to Nha Trang from Saigon for 4 days and WOW this hotel was worth the effort and getting the logistics right. The Spa alone is worth the trip but the hotel is a very special place, close to everything but secluded enough to be quiet. I had the large suite right on the beach and it was magic, my staff had King rooms with garden views and they both loved the rooms. Food was great although we did go out a lot. The services were great at every turn. I traded more than 30 e-mails with the staff before leaving the US and they had a car/driver (Mercedes) waiting for us at the airport and brought us back at a very early hour. Spa was better than I imagined and the pool and other services were more than we needed. Front Desk set up a bunch of day trips for us from waterfalls and cliff diving to motorboat out to one of the islands for lunch. I normally stay in town in the heart of the action but this trip the quiet was desired and this hotel did not disappoint in anyway. A truly great stay.
We stayed at the Evason Ana Mandara for our last four days of a two week Vietnam holiday. We just wanted a relaxing beach break after 10 day of busy sightseeing & we certainly got it. We couldn’t have been happier with the rooms, gardens, pools, restaurants & the proximity to the beach (The sunrise was amazing every morning). The staff were all exceptional & couldn’t do enough to make sure were having a great time. The breakfast was scrumptious, the restaurant food was incredible, & the service by the pools was fantastic. When we left to go out for dinner or shopping, we we’re always relieved to come back into the Evason - it felt like our own little oasis. I would highly recommend it to all my friends & would definitely stay here again.
I had a five-day short vacation in September 2018 and wanted to come back. And this year, I spent ten days at Anamandara, which was a good decision. First of all, the location is very good, clean and friendly. The beach is very important when deciding where to stay, and it is very well maintained. I arrived at the resort at 6 am, so I applied for an early check-in. I was so tired from flying all night, but it was booked without error, so I was able to relax in the room right away. Thank you very much to MS.Pitu for taking great care of us since check-in. I received a friendly welcome card from the resort manager Recommend a good restaurant to visit Every time she met us, they asked us if she were doing well or not. The tra tac drink on the street was so delicious that I asked ms.pitu how to make the ingredients and taught me slowly. I come home and eat it myself. Pretty similar !! And I also bought the recommended tea! Thanks MS.Pitu !! The cards and snacks you sent to your room last night were delicious. Thank you very much. The next time we go to Nha Trang, the resort will definitely be an Anamandara. At that time, I hope to see Pitu again. Thanks for having a nice vacation !!
My husband and I, along with two good friends, recently spent a week at the Ana Mandara and we loved every minute we were there. The location right on the beach was stunning, the accommodation, 2 beautiful pools, and restaurants were first class. The staff were just wonderful, incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we were all having the best holiday. And we did. Trieu was wonderful and went way beyond to find a particular restaurant we were wanting to visit, among other requests. And cheers to Mathias, Evason's Manager, who made sure the guests were happy day and night. We will definitely be visiting again.
Upon arriving at the hotel you are fully transported into another world away from the bustle of the city, it truly is beautiful. This is before you even venture further in to see your room, ours which opened out onto the sea with you only having to take maybe 5 steps across your private porch to reach the sand. Possibly our favourite thing about this hotel was the food. When we walked into our first hotel breakfast I think it's safe to say our whole family's jaws dropped at the incredible range of options, they really had everything. Now this was fabulous for my daughter and I but I was still slightly worried as my son and husband are vegan and so often it is harder to find food for them. However, as a complete shock to us the chef herself came out to introduce herself before bringing out a four course beautifully prepared and delicious vegan breakfast for them. The pool was lovely and we even had our sunglasses cleaned for us whilst we swam. The hotel also prepared a delightful picnic for us for our subsequent train journey, doing so at short notice.
