Check in The lobby is not air-conditioned and we cannot check in earlier than 2pm Accommodation We booked a bungalow but we got a "free upgrade" to a 2 bedroom apartment. This is not good because we are traveling in a group of 3. Yet this is not because all bungalows are booked. The hotel is almost deserted. We suspect the staff is just being lazy and try to group all the guests into the same building for easier management. Travelling within the hotel The facilities of the hotel is spread out onto a large area. So we either phone the front desk for a shuttle to the lobby/restaurant/wherever we are going, or we walk under the scorching sun. Restaurants There are only two restaurants in the hotel. One of which is the one we have our buffet breakfast. There is almost no Vietnam food in the buffet. The second restaurant is next to the pool. The price is three times as high as other restaurants. Beaches There is a semi private beach shared by three hotels nearby, also run by Diamond Bay. The beach is okay, a little deserted, but quite clean. There is no entertainment on the beach other than swimming and sunbathing. There are shuttles to the beach (5 min) ride, but the frequency is 1/hour, which is too low. We end up walking back to the hotel (20 min). Staff The staff speaks more mandarin Chinese than English. I was literally mind blown when the front desk attempted to use Google translate to explain why we cannot get the bungalow. It seems that the hotel is mainly serving mainland Chinese. TV TV channels are almost entirely Vietnamese without any English subtitles. They even dubbed English channels into Vietnamese. The only watchable channel is Fox movies. The TV menu is written in Vietnamese first, and then English, but local Vietnamese don't go to the hotel anyway. Birthday cake The staff gave my friend a birthday surprise. You can check out his review below. He is more forgiving. The staff went into our rooms without invitation. The birthday cake is oversized for the three of us. It is not placed in a box or covered by cling film. The taste is ok. Shuttle There are shuttles to and from Nha Trang Centre (not the city centre, but the name of the building). Frequency is 1/hour to 1.5/hour. You will be given the shuttle schedule. You have to book 4 hours in advance. The location of the hotel is so far away that the shuttle will take 30 minutes. There is nothing adjacent to the hotel. We feel stranded on a deserted island.

Great service, really appreciated the birthday surprise (The hotel gave us a free birthday cake)! Totally didn't see that coming lol The private beach and the Nhu Tien Beach had beautiful views and were moderately clean too. The breakfast buffet was great, and the rooms were comfortable. The main downside is that this hotel is far away from the city center and the free shuttle buses are too infrequent (once every 2 hours). We also had significant difficulty communicating with the staff in English.

Start with the positive, great pool and two private beaches. Cocktails are great and some of the service staff are amazing rooms are huge and relatively cheap. However if your not Chinese or Russian they don’t seem to care as you’re not important customers. Food ranges from average to very average.

First reading other reviews here I wonder where they lived? Can not be here "great location" "situated in a shopping mall" "great food" "clean"... The first room I got I just entered and walked out again, smelled so bad of mold. Second absolutely ok, clean well ok not good but ok. The bed was full with black hairs but luckily only on top so I cleaned it up myself. The room has no shower just a bathtub, sure you can put the shower head in the holder on the wall but then it sprays 90 degrees out from the wall and no curtain so the whole bathroom will get soaked (Guess that explained the mold in the first room). Rooms very quiet so at least that's good. Then breakfast... they have a nice restaurant by the pool but no, breakfast is served in a big sterile canteen more appropriate for a factory. Food quality awful the only nice thing is the coffee and omelets... (even found mold on the bread) Restaurant for evening food. Same quality as breakfast, tried hamburger and ended up with removing the meat and eat the bread with salad. Also tried seafood noodles, a little better but still weird taste. (Best food is to walk over to the resort and eat there, not good but better). I also wanted to sit by the pool tables, just outside the restaurant but waitress wouldn't allow me even though it was empty (later I saw one couple sitting there, one table out of maybe 6?). Situation... well it's quiet by the beach but NOTHING around. Nha Trang is about 10 km away... Overall this resort has great potential but sadly nobody takes care of it and improves it. Feels like they concentrate on Chinese and Russian charter tourism and that people should come one time then never again.

Firstly the place is huge, and the transport arrangement is simply wonderful and timely throughout the resort. A private beach located 1.5 Km away and have transfers up and down once in an hour. Good spa facilities, quite booked and feels a bit rushed. But nice setting Good variety of food choices for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for us as there were no meat options other than pork. Friendly and attentive staff, the biggest reason for recommending Dimond bay.

Rooms were newly renovated and spacious. Clean, refreshing pool. Great breakfast. Service was very attentive. The resort was under renovation in February but the construction noise was never a problem.

The condo is a good location, right across from the beach. There is a food market, Citimart, on the 3rd floor. It has good options for pre-prepared food to eat in our room when we were too tired to go out. The Russian were very rude. They acted like they own the place. They made the front desk clerk cry. The rooms were nice but not completely done construction wise. There were details that was not constructively completed. Rooms were modern and clean. The pools were nice after spending a day at the beach. We picked this hotel for our ability to cook in the room, to get food at citimart, and location close to the beach. The hotel is close to local shopping center called Cho Dam, where we did most of our eating out like the local and shopping.

The hotel was spacious and modern and really clean! Overall very suprise over the price for this place. But abit disappointed by the wifi Connection! We couldnt Connect to the wifi when sitting on our bedroom. Its weird when this is suppose to be a really high class and luxury apartment in Vietnam Nha trang.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. The floor plan is spacious and the facility is in good condition. Great for family with young kids whom doesn't like eating out. Bad minor bad thing is that they do not allow iron in the bedroom.

The condo is nice, but every day you will here the music booming in your room from the pool bar. It is so loud at times, that you can't even hear your own TV. This goes on ever night form about 4-5 pm until 11 or later. The condo and hotel should shut down the bar if they don't want to loose business.
