We contacted the agent by the name of Tien (her phone number is: 01206232775) to rent the condotel for 2 months. She said the with our stay, we could use the pool and told us many great things if we rent here, but it’s all a LIED!!! We didnt know it’s all a lied until we signed the contract with her, she demanded we paid the deposit and two months rent and so we did gave her the money. When we live there, we were kicked out of the pool because the staff said that it is only for the guest at the hotel! Also the condo we were in, the air conditioner was broken and it’s damn hot in every room! We called and asked her to send someone to come, look at it, and fix it, but she end up not sending anyone. We had such an awful experience there! With everything is happening and nothing was done to fix the problems, we ended up wanted to move out! We told her the problems and that we wanted to break the contract because she does NOTHING to fix it. She said she will reimburse part of our money but she gave us only not even 1/2 of what she said she will give. My husband then tried to call her lots of times and texted her, her response was: I’m out of town and on vacation. WTF?!! Hope nobody has to deal like this with her. This girl name is Tien and have tattoos on her arms. So BE AWARE!
Bookings.com had this hotel as a 4 star hotel and I think it's true to say that it is in a 4 star complex but the room itself is no higher than a three star at best. It isn't even a hotel really but an apartment and as such, it has both good and bad qualities. As an apartment it has a kitchenette and a washing machine, with powder but no clothes drying rack. The kitchenette is equipped well enough to cook a basic meal and the advantages of the location is that it is in the same complex as the supermarket which is super convenient. However, there was no tea towel to wipe up. It also has free daily water bottles and free tea and coffee. The fridge is a good size and certainly keeps the food cold. The apartment is serviced each day, I know because they came in to service at 9am before we had surfaced and I thought that was a bit early. The complex also has a pool which requires a deposit of 100,000VND per access card. The pool is on the 4th floor and is actually really lovely. The complex is across the road from the beach and from our apartment, we had some good views across to Vinpearl Land. Here is the odd bit though. The apartments are within a hotel and the reception of the hotel was not the reception for the apartments which is on the 10th floor. When you arrive, you are met downstairs by two office ladies who take your money and then take you up. The first issue with this is that being on the 7th floor, our room key would allow us to go no higher in the building without having to get someone from downstairs to use their card in the elevator. We had been given a contact number to call but we have no phone and we needed to access them for help twice. Both occasions involved our door not opening and we found that this was a constant problem until we finally worked out you had to pull back on the handle before the snib could disengage. It was also a problem to lock and we noticed that other residents were having the same issue, with one door actually ajar with its occupants out. The apartment is really dated and the bathroom is very marked up. However the shower was hot but there was only one toothbrush and no soap or other toiletries. For the price we were pretty sure toiletries should have been included. The TV was great and all other parts of the apartment were functional although the kettle was a bit dodgy to get to work. There was no toaster. And now to the bed..........we were only here for 2 nights so it wasn't worth complaining about but holy hell. I actually hurt my knee when I knelt on it. Springs were coming through and I had to sleep around the lumps. Ill be letting them know but I can't believe that previous residents haven't already complained about it and it is actually this bad. It is without a doubt the worst bed I have ever slept on - in my entire life - and it needs throwing out. The sheets and towels are old but clean. Overall, the place isn't too bad but the bed is atrocious ......room 709. We paid $54AUD or 850000 VND per night and it was overpriced for what we got. This is our last night in Vietnam after a month of travel on our second visit. We have a bit of experience regarding what expect for our dollar and unfortunately this apartment definitely came up short.
This apartment used to be the Lotus Condotel and has changed hands. I had all sorts of problems booking it as the name had changed. The room consists or a balcony with sea glimpses between high rise buildings. It has a balcony and is a large room with a king size bed, kitchenette and large bathroom. In it's previous life it had a breakfast bar with chairs which were good for eating or using computer, however the owners have put in an extra largish single bed which makes the room very cramped and there is no where to sit to use the breakfast bar. You either have to go onto the balcony (weather permitting) or sit on your bed to eat. The bed is hard but the room is clean. To access reception you have to go to a small room on Level 10 but the ground floor reception called receptionist to the ground floor to meet us. We were checked in and given instructions but had to find our own way to the room. Upon arrival we found crockery plates were lacking and the safe was locked needing a master key to open so I had to go back down to level 10 (accessed by service elevator which was very slow) to get them to come up and open it so I could programme my number. The unit is in a good location as the Nha Trang Centre is just over the road from the beach and close to supermarket, food hall etc. There are no beach towels provided but the previous owners supplied them. The point of this is that when you go to the beach to use a sunbed it is free if you have the hotel towel. Plenty of toiletries are provided in the bathroom, wifi is good and strong. I think with a little extra care this unit could go from three star to excellent. TV is provided but limited western channels If you want to access the pool you need to go to level 10 and get an access card and then return it which is a bit of a nuisance but doable.
We had wonderful time in here with 1 partment - 2 rooms and 1 living room around 3,500,000 vnd / per night . The room was big and the beautiful sea view through the big window . We had 4 people and we could wash the clothes after swimming by washing machine . Hotel have 2 bathrooms and kitchen bar to cook anything in case . The location is in the central therefor we could go anywhere by taxi . Nice hotel - nice trip .
Disgusting hotel! Will never recommend it & never come back! We stayed in a luxury apartment with balcony and NOTHING was luxurious about it - No proper check-in reception desk, the check in desk is on the 10th floor and is a dodgy home-made office that was not presentable and not safe (tried sitting down on one of the chairs to sign paper work and the chair had fallen apart) There is no signage in the main lobby downstairs advising people where to go or that the hotel actually exists in that building. The worker that came down to collect our bags did not greet us, took us upstairs, gave us a piece of paper with a code on it for our room door (no room key, which was very inconvenient) and wifi login that didn't work and showed us to our room. The room was NOTHING like the photos on booking.com - the room had a very foul smell, nothing had been dusted, it was dirty, the furniture and walls were old, chipped and stained! The bed was harder than the floor and bed linen was atrocious! It looked like they hadn't been changed in months!! After 5mins of sitting on the bed i'd noticed a red rash on my legs and began scratching like a mad woman! The fold out sofa looked to be broken so was extremely uncomfortable and only had 1 fitted sheet on it and another old rag of a blanket thrown on top. There were only 2 tiny little pillows on the bed that didn't even have the same pillow cases and another small pillow on the fold out. The sliding door lock was broken and this was a major problem as we have a very curious 2yr old! Balcony was full of dirt, no one bothered to wipe down anything out there including the outside furniture! The bathroom had mould in every corner and around every tile! The vanity was rusting along with the toilet and mirror, the toilet handle flush was broken but still managed to flush. A deposit was required for the pool access cards & we were told to lie about our room number in order to get into the pool area, the walkway to the pool was dangerous, it was as if you had to walk through a store room to get to it - There was no phone in the room, so every time you required anything you had to make your way down to level 10 for assistance and only up until 9:30pm, very inconvenient. We had originally booked for 3 nights but barely stayed for 1 as we were forced to leave due to the state of the room and the safety of our kids & hygiene. Do not waste your time and money on this hotel, they'll rob you of your money!!
booked a studio apartment. for 4 nights. Positive: the apartment is quite big and has a kitchen, washing machine, big LED TV, and wi-fi and hot water. the location is good, 2 mins walk to the beach and shopping mall on the side. Negative: unstable wifi.. but my friends in other room said that his signal very strong. the entrance kinda hard to find, because there is no "Lotus Village Condotel" signage. from the airport you have to go to "Nha Trang Center" and you have to go to the lobby located between KFC and Highlands Coffee shop. overall it is a good property.
Because of a minor accident we were forced to stay longer in Nha Trang and needed a decent place with an elevator and a place to cook etc. We showed up and didn't feel like looking around so booked it for 50 US a night. They have a pool on the 4th floor. its in between 2 buildings so it only has sun in the morning. The sunbeds (only a few available) were really hard and unpleasant. All in all I think for 50 dollars a night you can find a better place. Room: 8/10 Room is spacious with a kitchen in it. It has an electric stove and 2 pans, nothing to stir your food with though and nothing of peper or salt and the like. It has a washing machine in the room, but no lines to hang your clothing. Bed: 7/10 It has a 180x200 bed. its an ok bed, not super soft. Cleanliness: 7/10 room is serviced everyday, so the manager claimed. We had to ask for it every time though even though we hung the sign "please make my room" and they were standing right in front of the door. They skipped our room every time. Shower: 8/10 Decent pressure, plenty of hot water. Shower is separate of the rest of the bathroom. Location: 7/10 right next to the beach, but the high ranking (on tripadvisor) restaurants are a few kilometers away. Service: 7/10 because of the cleaning staff (not showing up, only on request) the people at the reception were super friendly and nice. Helped us scan and print our insurance papers. Breakfast: Not included. The only restaurant they had was super expensive so we cooked our selves. There is a supermarket on the second floor.
First of all: it is not a hotel. There is no receptionist, although there is always somebody at the front desk at the ground floor. They don't belong to Lotus Village. The room however is cleaned on a daily basis. We stayed in a one room appartment with a small kitchen and a bar with two stools. Bed was fine same as the great amount of lockers. There is no breakfast possibility so you have to prepare that yourself. You will find a big supermarket on the 2nd Floor. All together we had a nice stay.
0 stars if I could - The Lotus Village Condotel is not a clean hotel. The bedsheets had stains on them and didn't get changed during our visit (despite us asking that the sheets be changed). The towels had a really musty smell (as if no one has rented the unit in a long time). They leave a cleaning mop and bucket in the shower. (Under which 3 large 1-2 inch cockroaches were hiding!). Part of the room is used as storage space for stuff. We didn't look in the large garbage bags to see what was in them. The kitchen/dining room table has a large piece of glass on it. There are a lot of dead ants under the glass. - We rented this place mainly because it has a washer/dryer and a kitchen. However, we quickly found out that the advertised "washer/dryer" is just a washer. We had to lay clothes out on various chairs to dry. Also, once we started cooking, lots of HUGE 1-2 inch cockroaches started coming out! - The service is slow. If you need anything, you have to go down to the main lobby. The receptionist in the main lobby will call someone from the hotel to relay the message. Then we'd just have to wait. There's no actual receptionist/office for the Lotus Condotel that I am aware of. They also don't have a receptionist working 24-7. We went downstairs to complain about the huge cockroaches. They said they'd take care of it. However, there were still more cockroaches. At around 2am, I went down to the lobby because I spotted more huge cockroaches. No one was working in the lobby. Very poor customer service. How can you run a hotel business where you're not actually available 24-7? That's crazy! Especially when there are cockroach issues. I went back to the receptionist at around 4am. He laughed and told me to just use a shoe. Horrible. The cockroach issue improved during our stay (decreased in number), but we continued to see them every day. - They have a pool, but it’s pretty dirty. There was a lot of sand in it. I’m not sure how often they clean it. You have to bring your own towel from your room. They have towels near the pool for a fee. We definitely will never be staying here again. We didn't pay over $160 per night (after taxes and fees) to live with large cockroaches.
We stayed here as wanted a slightly cheaper option than a hotel and we got the same value as a hotel for that cheaper price. The rooms were serviced daily and very spacious, with a small kitchen. We were able to go and use the Lunar Pool, situated on the 4th floor whilst staying in the apartments. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. It was a great location, a little bit away from the 'backpacker' area, but still had plenty around it, including a supermarket in the mall that the apartments are located above, which came in very handy! I really enjoyed my stay in these apartments!
