This Hotel offers a nice quite friendly stay. Also a clean pool

It was a great stay and great staff, great room and a pleasant experience

This hotel was so dirty and sleazy!! The police were evicting someone from the room next to us. We checked in, but prompted checked out again and found a nice, clean hotel elsewhere.

Hotel old need updated everything. Room bathroom tub & floor was beyond nasty even after being serviced. Breakfast changed a lot. No longer convenient and unable to bring food back to the room. This hotel has changed a lot completely different from a year ago and not for the better. No smoking rooms available anymore.

Older hotel. Not in the best of shape. They need to call an exterminator.

When I called to see if we could check in early I was informed that there had been a plumbing leak that took 10 of their rooms out of commission and they needed to change us from suites to regular rooms, yet we were charged the same price! We could not check in early, and our first room we received the air conditioner did not work. So I was melting trying to get ready for my brothers wedding. The staff did change our room immediately! The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was a joke! There was hardly anything to choose from and the food that they did have did not taste right. The pool area had exposed wires showing and a light from inside of the pool was hanging. Did not look safe, and it was incredibly hot in the pool area because they had the doors open to the outside and the air off. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I ever stay there again.

Newport News seems to be full of inexpensive, so-so places to stay. Like many of the others, this one is fine not fantastic. Good: There was a pretty big indoor pool. The beds were comfortable and looked nice. So-so: The free breakfast included a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, and other options, but they were OK not wonderful Not so great: The bathroom needed new grout, the hair dryer was missing, and the tub didn't drain. On the other hand, the staff was nice about finding us a room next door to shower.

I've had better experiences at motel 6 staff was very rude and their rooms are late model ..need to upgrade ..

The door on the hotel room stop locking and I thought it was locked when I went out. I called front desk they came confirmed and move me to another room. They are old rooms but great for sleep if your going to be out most of the day.

Good experience. Good family trip. Will come back and tell a friend

If you are looking for a great location in Newport News, Va., that can get you anywhere in the area quickly, you want basic accommodations at a low price, this is the place. Better than the budget hotels, and right for what it is. Don't expect luxury, but if you want a quiet night's rest, close to attractions and don't want to break the bank, this works. pool is big, but lacks good ventilation and it is always hot. no restaurant and no bar takes away from things. breakfast is ok and they limit the time to just 6-9 a.m. If you sleep in, you don't get breakfast,.

The room was clean and the room was a nice size. The king size bed was very comfortable and slept good. The price I paid for it I would definitely recommend i.

The bed was horrible. Day staff acted like you wanted a kidney because you needed an extra towel...only 2 towels for 3 people..which was known at booking. Continental breakfast was beyond lacking. Wouldn't use again

Nothing fancy, but everything worked and the price for the area is very reasonable.

hotel was cleaned , in a quiet area . the breakfast is just a continental breakfast.

Great Location, super nice staff, rooms are big and clea.....

Just want to mention our room smelled like cirgarette smoke. It was really strong in the bathroom. Room 479.

Awful. Waited about 10 minutes at front desk When we arrive nobody around. The next day had to switch our king-size bed for full-size bed because a broken toilet.no King-size bed available.no room service on the second day. We had to take out dirty towels and washcloths to the front desk for exchange. At night when we got back home from our trips doors were locked by front desk staff we had to knock and wait for the staff to come and open the door manually. To let us in. Had to wait 3 to 5 minutes. Would not recommend and will not stay there again.

Staff is courteous and knowledge. Great location to a lot of sights and shops. Free breakfast was exceptionally good and the amenities are worth the value.
