Excellent location for exploring Rhode Island. A two and a half star resort. It is clean and functional with a nice outdoor pool and a little gym. The staff are pleasant. The kitchen is described accurately as very small. One nice feature was the in-house laundry facility and another one was the library with its large collection of DVDs. So handy when you get a daylong rain.

Ice machine. Soda vending machine. Tiny workout space. Laundry. Nice lounge with coffee from 6am to 6pm. A few chairs in the sun facing the bay. Pool. Parking lot. Jamestown is a lovely sleepy town with a handful of restaurants and even less shops. It is a spectacular place to remove yourself from hustle and bustle of life. Rooms are nice. Clean. Kitchen in room is a counter, very limited. Bring snacks and even potential dinner. Restaurant on property is closed Tues and Wed. Most restaurants in town close early off season. A quick 10 min walk. Views are gorgeous. Sun was too much, sat on the front porch with our coffee and pastry from Slice of Heaven.

the room does not have central air and the aircon was very noisy. there are not many interesting facilities close by and a car is needed. Not many gourmet eating facilities and the pool is very small.

This latest trip was our third or fourth stay at this property. The units are not large, but always clean and comfortable. The units I believe we're all refurbished within the past two years. The in room included amenities and small appliances are nice. The staff has always been a pleasure to work with. Can be very difficult to book a unit due to availability. Looking forward to our next stay.

If you want a great beach experience but want to avoid the crowds in Newport, I highly recommenend this resort. It meets all my requirements for a gold crown even though it is small and more like a New England Inn than a Resort. It has views, it has a great little pool, and staff couldn't be more helpful. It's not a terrific "family with young children" experience, since units are smaller than some, but it definately offers an adult experience that is excellent. Jamestown is quaint and walkable/bikable and has a ferry to Newport if you don't want to drive. Mini kitchens only, so be prepared to dine out some, and take advantage of the great restaurant on site Thurs - Sun. Most units are perfect for 2 people and are very clean and updated. Free wifi, great flatscreens in each room and coffee/tea service all day. Work out area is small but machines are new and in very good shape, so you can be too! (smile)

Jamestown is a beautiful island just over the bridge from Newport's many historical sites, shops, and restaurants. The island provides great opportunities for outdoor sports and relaxation away from crowds, as well as a couple of its own historic sites to visit. Jamestown port has a ferry service from spring through fall that provides an opportunity to take in the local sites from the water or a way to get to Newport without fighting the sometimes crushing local traffic. The location of the Bay Voyage Inn is great. Just a short walk from Jamestown port, with a lovely view of the water and bridge if you happen to have a waterfront room. If you're assigned a room on the road, there is no where within the facility that a guest can go to enjoy the view with their morning coffee or evening wine without actually leaving the building. This was a huge disappointment for me as that morning and/or evening ritual is a big part of why we drove 8 hours to be at the shore. It is also a significant factor in my property rating. Some other things you should know before you choose to stay here. This is a Wyndham facility so it is predictable in terms of cleanliness and decor (nothing special but no complaints either). The staff was friendly and helpful, including coming up to the room to at 10 pm try to fix the TV. However, the partial kitchen is just a mini fridge and a microwave with some dishes. That is typically enough for a short stay, but the restaurant options on the island are fairly limited so plan accordingly. There are plenty of restaurant options in Newport but the traffic was terrible so getting there was a slow, tedious process (even on a Thursday morning). The facility description notes that there is fine dining on the premises, but the restaurant is only open for very limited hours over the weekend. Unless you are there over the weekend don't count on it as an option. Btw, the large lovely porch seating facing the water that you see in the pictures is owned by the restaurant. Bay Voyage Inn is a reasonable housing option for solo's, couples or friend events, provided that you have realistic expectations and plan accordingly. I would not make the trip there again for a room facing the road, but I would return to Jamestown again without hesitation.

Great location with a great view of the bay and the bridge to Newport. Jamestown is a quaint and wonderful little town with great little shops an restaurants. The parks beaches and lighthouse make it a great place to stay. The Inn was perfect. The only thing missing was a hot tub for those cool early June nights. Everything else was clean and tastefully decorated. Staff was excellent

We were pleasantly surprised with our suite. The room was Newly remodeled and immaculate. The room was decorated very tastefully. The location is wonderful. Right across the street from Narraganset bay. Jamestown is a little sleepy in April but it is lovely...I imagine it is very busy in the summer!

Great hotel with stunning views of bay and Newport Bridge. Our room was freshly refurbished and quite comfortable with a kitchenette, living room, and bedroom. Very comfortable bed; no housekeeping service during our stay, but room was very clean at check-in. While I would definitely return for off-season visits, I’m not sure the prime time rates are a great value...

Great location, we will hope the resort can have some weekly toll pass provided to the guess in future. Rooms are bit small, but the beds are very comfortable. The view to Newport are fabulous. Beach is just in front of the resort.
