July 4th

We are repeat visitors to the cottage and have always found it comfortable and convenient. We encountered a few minor but annoying problems this trip, which we brought to the attention of Flying Squirrel. Their response was prompt, and based on our past experience, I’m sure these issues will be resolved quickly.

Cozy, relaxing home in friendly neighborhood.

This home was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case, but certainly was here. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood as well. Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. Next time we are in the area, we will check the availability here first. Thanks for a great weekend!!!

Perfect Blue Ridge Getaway

Our second second time at Blue Ridge Bungalow and it was even better that the first visit. Activities all were great, golfing, hiking, fishing and enjoying the cooler weather. Found several new area restaurants which was a definite plus. The property is so perfect, we have already booked a week in July 2023!!

Cute, Hottub Spot Was Odd

Cute place within perfect driving distance of Grandfather and the Gorge. The placement of the hot tub was a little odd as there wasn't an exterior door that opened to it in the back. We had to walk out the front door and around the side of the house. Owners and house keeping were incredibly easy to contact and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend for a weekend away in a convenient location.

The community is very quiet. People are always out for a walk and so friendly. This was the perfect spot to relax and not worry about anything.
