Stayed Xmas eve and Christmas night whilst visiting family. Xmas trimmings looked good, liked the Christmas stocking left on the bed.Lovely friendly staff. Nice clean room, comfy bed. Very quiet. Easy to use heating controls and good to have option of opening the window.

The location is absolutely great! near everywhere. The room is noisy because it may face to the main street. a little bit dusty. but overall is still comfort to stay. I used self check-in & check-out , except from breakfast time, I did not contact any staff during stay.

Booked the standard room and opted for the upgrade to exec room and it was ok. But nothing special which I think summarises it nicely. Solid but no exceptional. Check-in was relaxed but no info shared like check out or VIP benefits so felt like a missed opportunity. The cleaning robot was fun in the morning as it ran around me.

Room was brilliant hadn't a twin so gave us a double with a single so suited us. Very clean bathroom too. Breakfast was good choice and not rushed. Was very central for where we wanted to go eg Chinatown and metro to Tynemouth . If back in Newcastle would book again
