The hotel was having major renovations so there was a lot of disruptions. My room was clean, bathroom, water pressure, hot water, a/c & TV reception all top class. The shared kitchen, bathrooms & lounge areas in the accommodation section need work, but I think that will be part of the overall renos. Had a very nice & affordable meal in the bistro & the staff were very friendly & helpful. Overall I recommend staying & will return when the renos are completed.

I was supposed to stay with my girlfriend but the room was quite dirty, smelling & door doesn’t have lock. We thought it’s not safe place for stay then we left after 1 hour . I won’t use & don’t recommend it anyone . not worthy at all .

Oh God. Where do I start. 2 glasses of wine $23 during happy hour. When I asked, told too late to change anything. Dinner was delicious. Room under construction and worker's on the front verandah at 6am. Parking not private as advertised. Other pubs provide wardrobes and a bar fridge, not here. Add says tea and coffee provided in the kitchen, no, not even a clean glass or cup on offer. Won't be back

We stayed on a Thursday night having read reviews of it being an affordable place to sleep and good for price. Had a lovely meal downstairs before going up to our room to discover a strong smell of cigarettes. Opened the window to air it out and went to bed. At midnight woken by loud music from downstairs, closed window and made little difference. Cigarette smell returned so possibly smoking area just below our room. Music went on till about 2:30am and then the other guests trickled in laughing and chatting. For price had expected some noise and older amenities, but had not expected sound to that level.

Very old buildding with some great features. Huge room and very clean. Ensuit old and out dated. Renovations were underway. Total renovation would be excellent. Restaurant down stairs was excellent. Very good selection.

This room was lovely with a huge bathroom with a separate toilet. It was a pleasant surprise. It was my first time staying above a pub and it was not too noisy. I would not recommend it if travelling with kids as there were some interesting people wandering around the hallways in the morning but great for adults. The room was very clean.
