The shower, not made for someone over 5ft tall, it would be nice to have blinds in the bathroom and hair conditioner, body lotion The beds were comfortable, the bedrooms were spacious. The room temp was fine.

I was a bit taken back when I realized I had to walk up to the 3rd floor but the property is just so charming and adorable, it was worry !! I called the manager to find linens for the sofa bed and he explained the house was built in the 1700’s. 2 blocks from the wonderful Michael’s Bayside Restaurant!! Loved it

Great location close to waterfront and restaurants. But its more a rooming house than an inn. Enter a small hallway - no lobby or living room. Room was ok and mattress was good. No breakfast at this B&B.

Easy check i!n. Comfortable furnishings. Classic old restored home

Fabulous location centre of town On site bldg mgr Steeped in history All modern conveniences Comfortable and charming

good for a one night stay room to sleep in able to log into modem but would not connect to internet

We stayed in the Gambrel Apartment and couldn't have been more pleased! We talked to Jeff (the property manager) before our stay - we were even able to check in early! It was so nice to to stay in a charming place with character, and the Market Street Inn could not be in a better location - so close to all of Newburyport's unique shops and restaurants. This was our first trip to the area - we will definitely be back - so much to see and do!

We walked to charming local shopping and eateries all day and into the evening safely. The short drive to the island was pleasant and the shoreline is magnificent.

Conveniently located in downtown Portsmouth. No lobby but on-site manager is on call by cell. Small, quaint, budget-friendly.

Spend your visit to Newburyport in one of its lovely homes the city is known for. The Inn is well maintained, thoughtfully appointed, clean as a pin and a very short walk into town.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Yes it is a much smaller height but we always hoped the tub would make up for it. Otherwise hope you had a fun time in town and we thank you for staying with us.

Hi, and thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we do not have a lobby. This is a home from 1750 and we have tried to preserve the integrity of the design. Also thank you most of our mattresses are memory foam so always good to hear. Although we are not a bed and breakfast we do offer units with full kitchens and there are many wonderful places to walk for breakfast and coffee. Thank you very much for staying and best wishes for all your future travels.
