Wyndham Garden Hotel Newark Airport

Manager was great. Offered to extend my booking during a big storm during which rooms were at a premium.

Staff was rude, heat didn’t work in the room, faucet in shower barely worked, housekeeping barged in our room twice in one day! First time they tried to come in was at 6:00 in the morning!! Parking was not good. Overall had a terrible stay, and for the price I paid for it, I am highly disappointed!!!

Ok. Won’t choose this hotel again. Room and hotel not clean

We would stay again. Near the airport. Has store, restaurant/bar, a coffe stand. It was to cold to go swimming. Great van service to & from airport. We took the train to penn station. The staff was friendly.

This hotel reminds me of the hotels that they’ll probably use to film a horror movie.

Front desk lady was nice. My room was made up fine but it just wasn’t that clean. The carpet was dirty and stained. The room smelled musty. The mattress was old with a foam pad under the sheet.

We spent 7 hours there to rest between flights home after returning from Europe. 10 minutes from airport. Bed was very firm (too firm for me). Pillows were nice, hallways messy, front desk pleasant. Served our purpose...To get some sleep.

Room not clean terrible staff ,they think that s ok to have a fielty room , next morning at ck out a nasty person at the desk.

Very bad motel and bad customer service and management..

So this hotel is a hotel that gets an A for effort. Seriously close to the airport! (We're talking 3 minutes and under.) I would highly recommend this hotel for a quick night to lay your head, and shower. This hotel looks great from the outside has a bit of construction at the entrance, once you enter the hotel it's your typical lobby, it's convient and has a store in case you need to grab the essentials for last minute. There was a restaurant with a bar connected to the hotel. Check in was pretty quick. Once we got upstairs off the elevator it was another story. The paint was peeling off the walls. The walls were a mustard - pee yellow. The hallway looked as if you were walking through the movie the shining. The room itself could of used some updated. It was clean it just needed some updated. Unfortunately you could hear the doors slamming at night.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. There were stray hairs left behind in the shower and on a towel

Very good. Staff is professional and proximity to airport is a plus.

Price was good. Place was average. Problems with internet and phone. Overall fine though.

The people here were really sweet. The room was crumbling, tearing, rusting, and dark, and just felt as grimy as any $25 motel I ever stayed at in the middle of nowhere.

It's a decent hotel with a restaurant but not really as nice as pictured

Close to airport but trouble with entering address in gps. Ok for 1 night stay

Good for an overnight stay. Room was clean, nice staff

Very average. Stay here in a pinch but stay somewhere else if you have options.

Good hotel free parking free shuttle to airport good restaurant on site

It's not bad st all! Don't know why there are such negative reviews. The only negative is that the hallway carpets could have been vacuumed more often but it's hard keeping up with sloppy guests!
