I was here before and I returned to the hotel to stay. By the way, I'm writing this review while I'm staying at the hotel. - Room is clean and neat, with a good kitchenette, a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. - Clean and neat the hallway. - Around the hotel is well-kept landscape and clean. - Front desk is professional and courteous when checked in. - Wi-Fi is not quite as fast as I desired; average between 2Mpbs and 2.5Mpbs or so. - Housekeeping is good. - A good kitchenette. - Outdoor barbecue equipment and small pool: not tried. - For the breakfast: have not tried yet. - Parking lot is spacious and free. - Its location is really good -- many restaurants and stores are nearby and close to I-880. I would recommend to anyone for his/her business trip and/or personal leisure.

* Room is quite spacious, with a good kitchenette, a confortable bed and a nice bathroom. Very well equipped. Cleaning service is good. * Service is quite good. * Very average breakfast in a tiny room that got overcrowded in the week-end. Avoid "rush-hours" in week-end to find where to sit and what to eat. * Outdoor barbecue equipment and small pool. I spent 8 days for business, and i felt very comfortable.

This is a good mid-priced hotel. It is clean and well-equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Week day breakfasts are ordinary but tasty. I was told weekends have waffles and a few more items. The suite includes a small kitchen, desk, couch and space to separate yourself from your bed. We were only there overnight and it seems an excellent place to stay if you are to be in the area for several days for business. I especially appreciated the really good shower. It's not fancy but it fulfills its purpose excellently.

We stayed here for a month. Somebody broke into our room and stole our stuff worth around USD3k. Marriott said they won't do anything for our loss and it's not thier fault. Stay here at your own risk.

Never had just a bad experience with front desk staff and the AGM. AGM was most uncivilized person you can ever think of, not sure how people like her her into hospitality sector. I was a guest at this hotel several times in the past but never encountered bad behavior.

Very clean, well equipped room with facilities for cooking, ironing, etc. Feels like home away from home. Very friendly front office and all other staff. It is accessible to popular restaurants and malls.

Very nice hotel, hotel staff has been very nice during my stays and the rooms have been clean and comfortable. Breakfast is basic and the eating area is not very big. Overall though it is a very nice hotel

We stayed just this past weekend, 8/5-8/7. This was my first stay at Townplace. We were visiting family who lived in the area, and my brother was specifically looking for suites for his big family. We had gone back and forth with hotels in the area but for the location, price and amenities, this fit our requirements. The check in was easy, no fuss and hassle free which I appreciated considering I just drove 8-hrs. The lobby area is very small, 2-person max counter but it does its job as I don't plan on lounging. The woman attending that evening was very accommodating and friendly. Not thinking till after she had already prepped the key cards. I had asked to be close to my brothers room. She found a room, in the same building but opposite end. Which was fine. The refreshments were a lovely treat. My daughters helped themselves to cookies, while my mother and aunt had coffee to warm up with. Our room was better than expected. It was very clean to the eye, updated and comfortable. The 2-bdr suite with kitchen was perfect. I have specific diet, and having a full kitchen was very helpful. The kitchen had all the items for a longer stay, dishes, glass ware, cookware, coffee maker, toaster, etc. All the kitchen items I used including the fridge was very clean. The living space, was clean and comfortable. Furniture has been updated and trendy. There was a dining table which can be very useful for a long stay. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the main bedroom had a tv, desk and dresser and closet. This is where I stayed with my daughters. I worked in the evening so the desk was very helpful. The tv in the room, and FREE internet was great! The other room was little smaller, but perfect for my mother and aunt. This room did not have a tv or dresser. Bathroom, although was small was good enough. Perhaps for 5-women trying to get ready would be a problem but it worked for us. The shower and toilet was separated from the sink area so, one can take a shower while the others used the sink. It was clean, and as the other decor, trendy. Good amount of towels available, and they were soft, and still plush. Breakfast is included in your stay. Consisting of cereals, muffins, toasts, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice, waffles, and fruit. The place is very small, so maneuvering can be tough. There was only 1-waffle station (make yourself) so there could be a line. I only had the hard boiled egg and was cooked to perfection. My 19-yo daughter did say that the muffins were gross, not sure what that means. My brother and his children (15-6yo) were perfectly fine with it. Gym-this part of the hotel is very dismal. It consist of 1-treadmill, 1-elliptical, 1-stationary bike, and dumbbells. I used the elliptical and its fine. Our overall stay was very comfortable! It was very clean which is number one priority for me. Safe (I saw a security guard in the evening walking around) and close to where I need to be. I would stay here again.

I will never return to stay at this hotel. We booked this hotel because of it's distance to the Fremont Sports Complex. Our family arrived there after 10pm, tired from being at the softball fields most of the day, only to find out our 2 bedroom suites were overbooked. This happened to another family as well. The only solution was to book us 2 separate 1 bdrms, which is very inconvenient as we did not have separate suitcases. It was a long check in, as the employee was starting his shift, and said the previous shift knew they overbooked it and left it for him to figure out. He really did not seem surprised by it. The other room that we were given had a used soap bar and hand towel ???, and the toilet handle did not work as well. This may not always be something that happens, but it happened to us, and we will definitely not return here.

Stayed here for work and unless there is no other hotel available in the vicinity I will not return (and if I do I am bringing my eye covers). I had a 2 bedroom suite. I had the AC cranked but it did not vent into the bedroom well. I eventually got up in the middle of the night and opened the door to the living room (which was cool) and this helped. The main reason why the sleep quality sucked is because each bedroom had a smoke detector above the bed that had a VERY bright green light illuminated and it lightens up the room incredibly. After I was woken by the heat, I was treated to the sounds of a car "street show" with screeching tires and revving engines for about 20 minutes, followed by the pumping bass of loud music coming from outside. The fact that I was sleeping in a hood that had street shows was a bit concerning. I looked in my suitcase for eye covers but did not pack any - my bad. The pillow over my head to block out the light, along with the warm room, made it very difficult to get any sleep. I eventually fell back to sleep and my "alarm" was noisy gardeners and leaf blowers at 7 am. The (free) breakfast was good with hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries (and other stuff), the parking was easy, and both the evening and morning staff were friendly, but this does not make up for the lack of sleep. Marriott should switch out the model of their smoke detectors.
