Great location. Many restaurants near by. Quite and spacious.

This has to be one of the dirtiest gloomy hotels I have ever been to. It’s more of a run down germ infested motel. Housekeeping should all be fired filthy bathrooms hair everywhere, bed skirts had white gross stains.

The hotel is nice, the room was very large although we found the bed a bit soft. On one side it had that sunken side of the bed thing going on. We did have a difficult time getting the room a comfortable temperature. Even though it was super cold out (NYE) we had to run the air because the room was steaming. My biggest complaint is the lounge downstairs. They don't have good sound absorption and the music bleeds into the rooms (we were on the 3rd floor) and the music sounded like it was next door.

Check in process was delightful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is older, but well maintained. I don't normally stay in this area, but the hotel is only 3 blocks from Grand Central Station where you can catch the subway shuttle to times square and then head to any part of the city.

First room was in terrible condition but they did move us to a better room. Room was OK but could be much nicer if the furniture was updated and it was painted. Staff was very helpful. The price was good for NYC but still very expensive and the hotel should be in better condition.

Check in was ok, old old hotel. Asked front desk for wash clothes b/c there was only 1 & it was 2 ppl's. TOOK 3 HRS TO GET 2 WASH CLOTHES!! small fridge is only for snack bar..... no microwave & mattress was wore!!

The front desk person, Jacob, was terrific. Extremely helpful and knowledgable,

The hotel needs to be updated. I stayed there 10 years ago and the hotel definitely shows its age.

Old worn out furniture would have been fine if it weren't paired with a very dirty bathroom. Dirty walls, cobwebs and pealing paint made the bathroom very unpleasant to use. After pointing out the deficiencies to the housekeeping supervisor the cobwebs were cleaned but that's it.

Room was large but very dated. I would give this hotel no more than a 3 star.

I stay at this hotel on a regular. basis, staff is always very help and welcoming Amira is Awesome. A real asset to the hotel !!!!

Not sure what the St Giles group is doing with The Court...seems like they are bleeding every bit of value out of old old old assets from the previous W that used to be there. This is nothing like the renovated Tuscany hotel they operate next door. Furniture in my room looked like the Wolverine had stayed their with huge scratches and marks all over the place. The couch was so filthy I could not even lay my clothes on it. I travel 40 weeks a year and am in NYC 2-3 weeks a month I have seen it all, this was one of the worst. Upon my very late arrival coming from meetings on West coast, I got to hotel at 2am, got out of my Uber and saw a girl sitting outside smoking a cigarette. I went inside, tired and just wanting to get to bed, and there were 2 young backpackers waiting to check in...yet nobody there to help. I looked around hotel, we waited for 12-15mins, I called the hotel number...no response. Then, very casually the same girl who saw me exit my Uber and roll my suitcase into the hotel entrance, finished her cigarette and came inside to check us all in. She had the audacity to say "oh, sorry I thought you were being helped". Horrendous service, terrible property, never again.

old, run down and loud. could not sleep at night because of the poor window insulation and load vehicle noises

Decent hotel for the price. I didn't expect any more considering it was a less expensive hotel right in Manhatten. Went in december, drafty old windows, no blanket on the bed, kust the dirty comforter. Hard bed and lumpy pillows. Shower pressure blows you away! It wasn't awful, and for the price and location I woukd stay there again. You're only there to sleep!

The room was not clean. Very dusty in places that should readily be dusted very day such as the wall shelves, bedside table etc. Carpet stained and ripped. The heat/AC unit would not turn off no matter what I did. It was very loud. I had to put pillows over it. There was a chaise lounge in the room that took up a large amount of space and was totally useless. I was afraid to sit on it. The throw pillows on it were pulled and discolored. The whole room really (aside from maybe the bathroom) was a mess. You have to call and ask for a coffee maker otherwise there is none in the room. I was stuffy and congested each morning waking up in this room. I was concerned for my health and the room cleanliness was just gross. I was afraid to look to close. Good location walkable to a lot but nothing else going for it. The place is quite run down and room was filthy. I had asked to check in girl told me 15 minutes for room. I sat in lobby for 45 before finally going over to her and she was like, "oh yeah sorry it's ready now". Duh...

Great location and excellent service. Will stay again!

Overall a good experience.. well kept hotel with a lot of food choices and activities to do walking distance

The bedding feels like from a cheap motel. A/C unit in the window ads to the noise from the street so much that it's almost impossible to sleep.

Nice but nothing special. No frills. If you want ice you have to go down to the cafe and ask for it. No ice machine on the floor. Rooms are ok, strange layout with a lot of wasted space. We were only staying 1 night and the price was right.
