This hotel concept is the multiple cabins in a room concept. (lke a SHIP). The rooms are almost the exact size as bunk beds side by side! You can hear people farting, breathing and even smell them! There's an old Indian man who sits in a dark security room who only comes out to screams at you for having music on at the lowest levels. STILL a good price - and an imporve ment over World Hotel 101 - down the road

Unlike most hostels you stay in this one has privacy and a no talk rule in dorm which is properly upheld. The hotel staff is amazing. Always friendly and willing to help guests. There is a quite large room with 5 couches and a flat screen. You can request shows or games on television. I was able to meet people from all walks of life and parts of the world. That of course lent to the great time I had at my stay being able to meet friendly people and learn about different cultures.

Awesome staff very helpful. Great location. Reasonable price

If you want to sleep in a 3'x2' cell with no ceiling and paper-thin walls (thus, the "no talking" rule), this is your place. Sure it's a good location, but you won't have room for your feet on your bed. At 5'4", even mine extended over the mattress.

Right price. Clean . They work at it. The neighborhood is great.

Despite the fact that the Cabin area is deemed a quiet area, it is not. Rooms do not have ceilings; rather, they are all topped with lattice and technically under the same ceiling. If you stay here, you will hear old doors slamming, your neighbor snoring, etc. The rooms are tiny but provide privacy. Other than having a separate room, the shared bathrooms and noise mean it's really a hostel.

Overall good for my one night stay. The staff very helpfull! Thank you.

The quiet time is a joke. People used their alarms when it clearly said not too. It is so noisy outside and all around. The bathroom is pretty dirty / messy and not cleaned for a full day at least . . .

I mean, look, it's a hostel. Don't expect any fringes here. For the price, you get a great neighborhood, a clean cabinet and a hot shower. The bathrooms were kept clean, but there are some issues with water pressure and temperature. The shared spaces, including the roof terrace, were actually very nice.

Rooms are small and you cannot talk in your room. It's just a place to secure your belongings and sleep.

Didn't take occupancy of room so can't comment further but you insist on my completing that section in this review.

room was exceptionally small, but clean as were shared baths and bathrooms. Staff could have been more knowledgeable about local transportation and local spots for coffee, food. Everyone was pleasant however.

Greetings, We apologize for any inconvenience that our property has caused you during your stay. We are very limited in space and hone the idea of cabins instead of rooms. We are a great alternative to staying in the city without breaking the bank. We see guests from all walks of life and surprisingly, there are many guests who choose us because (1) location, (2) price, (3) accommodating staff that do try their best to make each guest's stay in NYC memorable. Guests who are not well spoken in English, especially look to us for guidance on how to navigate the streets of New York, and they come back, let us know of their day, and sleep in our cabins at the end of the day. Then, they begin a new day with more confidence. Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but we thank you for your feedback. Let us know if you'd like to give us another try, I will personally make the reservation for you in a bigger cabin, which is also available but limited. Best,

Greetings Orbitz, We are in fact a hostel. That is made very clear through our pictures and description. We are sorry to hear that you had noise issues, we offer earplugs to eliminate all the noise coming in from guests moving around and closing their doors. If you have any other concerns please do not hesitate to contact us directly so we can take care of you. Regards, Uke/Supervisor
