My room was pleasant, clean, and comfortable with a perfect location around the corner from Times Square. It didn’t have a ton of extras but was an excellent value for the price. I appreciated the early check in for a modest cost especially bc I was moving from another hotel during a blizzard. Check out Connolly’s Irish Pub next door for great food/drinks/service.

Staff was friendly and responsive to every question or issue. Our heat was not working when we got in, and the maintenance worker immediately fixed it. He was kind, thoughtful, and paid attention to detail. When we requested a new battery for the TV remote control “whenever they got a chance,” it was addressed without hesitation. It’s an old hotel, but it’s grossly underrated.

Let's start by discussing the location of this hotel. It is just one block away from Times Square, making it a very convenient choice if you're planning to stay in the heart of Manhattan’s busiest area. Regarding the hotel itself, it offers a classic, no-frills ambiance with a charming vintage and antique feel. The hotel is very clean, and what truly stands out is the staff. During my stay, I interacted with several members of the front desk team, and they were all exceptionally friendly, courteous, and eager to assist in any way they could. We had a wonderful experience here.

Great location!! Comfy beds, great water pressure, quiet room. First time to NYC in a long time. This location was awesome for being a tourist for 3 days. Coffee shop directly out the front door. This hotel was great for us.

I did not stay here. I tried to change my stay dates and I could not. Expedia recommended this with hotel or my trip as a costs savings add on to my flight. It included the wrong dates. I tried to reschedule or cancel within minutes of booking and this was denied. I will not use Expedia for any thing in the future. The hotel was very inflexible.
