Staff on the whole courteous and room was pleasant. A few issues would be the skimping on tea and coffee in rooms and other sundries such as milk. Also the $100 a night security deposit is a bit of a shock although this may have been pre warned and I missed. All that said though the hotel is well located, staff are good and would defo use again.

The elevator was horrible. Took over 25 minutes waiting to go down in the morning. We missed our bus which set everything off by an hour the rest of day. Note to self: calculate an extra 45 minutes for elevator. Also according to front desk attendants, they don't have 2 beds for a room. They only have 1 double bed and a miniature pull out couch/chair bed. The room had no circulation and the AC/fan would not turn on. Maintenance replaced the filter, still wouldn't stay on. Only time AC/fan turned on was when I opened the windows. Didn’t make since because it was cold outside and had the thermostat was set for AC/fan. I will say, location was great! No complaints on breakfast.

The elevator system was intensely inefficient and time consuming. Everything else was excellent, including the front desk staff and house keeping. I’m not sure we would stay there again only due to the assigned elevator system. The volume of backed up people waiting to go up in the lobby was ludicrous. We also had trouble getting an elevator down and had to take the stairs numerous times.

The hotel was conveniently located. Though it’s under construction in the lobby and that made it hard to navigate it first. The elevator situation could be better but I understand why they do it that way to keep up with the massive flow of people that’s going through the hotel each day. The one thing I really do wanna call out is the fact that the couch that integrates into a sleeper is a horrible liability. Basically, when you unfold the couch, which makes a sleeper with a very thin mattress if you sit on the headboard and the couch tilts back. This could very possibly lead to injuries. When I first contacted the hotel about this, I was told they would send someone up. Apparently they did because the couch was back unfolded in the bed, but no one ever said anything to me about it. Later that night, I contacted them again and they said they would send up an engineer. The engineer basically said the couch just operates like that. I then called down to the front desk to let them know that I was told by the engineer that the couch just operates like this I was put on hold. The gentleman came back, told me that. Yes they realize that the couches operate like this that they recommend not sitting on that end of the bed. It’s only lay on the bed that if you need to sit, you need to put it back together as a couch. I asked for possibly a room switch because I didn’t feel comfortable with my child sleeping on that because I could see a possible accident happening

The heating system was deficient and very loud. I had the shower fixed because there was no hot water at the beginning of my stay, and after the engineer came, it was warmer but the pressure was very low. We had fire alarms going off three different nights during our stay - all were false alarms and started because of pipe issues in the hotel next door, as both hotels/towers share the same fire alarm system. One of the nights, we stayed in the freezing cold lobby (it was -15* C outside) of the hotel for 45 mins before they figured out there was no fire issue. Although free, the breakfast is of poor quality and way too small to host the amount of people that stay at the hotel. A lot of people would take their plates up in their rooms as there was nowhere to sit. Finally, the room was not perfectly clean and cups/plates were not regularly washed.

The room was nice and clean. However, the room would not warm up and we were shivering cold all night long. Also the water ran clear for just a second then all the water that ran from the sink would be cloudy. We did not like that. Thankfully the location is prime and the employees were polite and accommodating. I would still stay there again. 4 stars for amazing location.
