Excellent views of Hudson Bay and city.
The staff was outstanding.... we got there early and they got a room ready fairly quickly....they had problems with the hot water heater and refunded half the hotel cost.... never had to wait more than a minute or so at the front desk...they always had two people working at the front desk and very efficient and friendly..... The place is within an easy walk of 911 memorial and the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, also the direct subway to Yankee Stadium is just 3 blocks away...very convenient.
My only complaint is that the elevator takes too long to go down
It’s 50 floors with only three elevators. Sometimes I waited 30 minutes to fit into a car, sometimes I had to walk 25 floors down. With luggage.
Room was tiny but the view was great. As many others have stated, hotel only has three elevators so wait times can be very long.
Great location for the Battery Park tourist attractions. There are closer options for parking garages than those that were provided by the front desk. Got back to hotel late after a show, and would have been nice if room service were available 24 hours. Had to walk a few blocks to a deli at 1 am, and some people may not be comfortable with that.
3 room changes. It was dirty.
Great place in Downtown
The elevators did not work properly. We were on the 36th floor and often had to wait 15 minutes to it
Spectacular location in heart of Financial District! Close to everything. Easy also to grab any # of sibway lines to other pointsin city.
Conveniently located to many attractions and dining in the area just a short walk. The rooms were a decent size for New York and staff was accommodating. The elevators was the biggest issue as they were extremely slow during peak hours and took the steps down to avoid a long wait 39 floors.
I enjoy this hotel. The elevators as mentioned in several reviews Im sure are a big hassle. 3 small elevators that work so slowly. This time one was taken out if service foe a while to transport linens. In the meanrime housekeeping is still monopolizing other elevators w linen or garbage, etc.
Good
Nice location
The property is nice. The elevators are extremely slow. There are 3 elevators however, they all always seem to be stuck or just very slowly making their way to the bottom floor or the top floor. There was a fire alarm that went off during my stay. There was no announcement and that was a little confusing bc it sounded like someone was going to speak.
This in not my first time in this hotel! So i choose it for my needs! This time i didn't have any issues with elevator! And i had a nice river view!
