Executive Class at MTS Hotel

I loved it however the only thing that was an inconvinience was that the plane arrived to NY at 6am and check in time to the hotel is at 12pm. We had to walk around and go to a restaraunt exhaustedly until check in time. Perhaps the package should include flights that arrive closely to the check in window and not make the consumer kill 4 hours after a plane landing at 6am.

Our room had no AC and I asked for another room at 1030pm. At 1145pm and two trips by their maintenance guy we were moved to a suite but with only one bed.when leaving the first room we discovered urine in the toilet that had been there so long it had mold growing on it. I paid for the executive class floor and even the suite had no air running. They provided a fan, roll say had and my daughter slept on a couch. I had to ask for a discount and only received 30 percent off. These were the rooms that were updated...I cannot imagine how bad the other rooms were. Very frustrated

There was a roach on the wall. They told us we could have a cot in our room when we booked our reservation and then when we got there was told we couldn't. I booked upstairs at the EXecutive Class and in the picture there was definitely a coach but the room was tiny. It was nice and modern but it was not what I thought I was paying for. Also, it says that I can request a rollaway cot but when I tried I was told that they don't give us those up there. I will never return to this hotel.

The hotel staff isn't friendly. Get the executive rooms, much better than the normal ones.

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone! Very poor service ! Only saving factor is Keith who is this hotel's manager. Tried to make things work and compensate for his staff's shortcomings. He needs to hire more competent people who are willing to work. Lines were long during check in. We were given a king size bed despite seeing we are a family of 4 and I specifically indicated two Queen beds upon reservation. Waited 45 minutes for a room with 2 queen beds to be available. A/c not working in an 80 deg F weather. Front desk did not even inform us. Waited 20 mins just for front desk to answer phone! Had to move to Sheraton across the street. Moving to another hotel was the best decision ever! Service was like night and day!

The hotel couldn't have been more conveniently located near Times Square. One block from the Gershwin theater, 2 blocks from the start of some serious shopping ! 7 blocks from Central Park !! Cab rides were all short and affordable. Easy access to the subways etc etc. A "must have" room upgrade is the ""Executive Level" room upgrade. Essentially you get your own private elevator that does not make any stops but at the "Executive Level" 18th floor. Ever seen the movie Elf, where Will F. pushes all of the elevator buttons, that's what New York hotels are like during checkout and check in times. Never having to wait became a major highlight of our hotel stay ! Breakfast was included, but it was really more like bakery items, fruit and coffee. It worked well for us though. We'd definitely stay here again!!
