I liked the good price, especially considering how close to Times Square it was. Yes, the place could definitely use some updating and the room was small, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was clean, and liked the motion detector switches for the lights. I'd stay here again.

If you want a property that is centrally located for a fun trip to NYC, this is the place. It's what I would expect for an affordable place to stay a block way from Times Square. But don't expect anything special. Think of this hotel as a place where you can sleep and change clothes while you enjoy the rest of the city. There is a $5 per bag fee to keep your luggage after you check out. So if you plan to check out and enjoy the city for the rest of the day before going home, there is a hidden cost. The staff I dealt with were very nice. I was able to check in early.

The property is in a great location to Times Square. However, it is very run down. Office staff is not very friendly or helpful. My first night there they only had a double bed when I purchased 2 double beds. I had to sleep on the floor. They did refund me that one night’s stay and got us in another room the next day, but I had to argue with them. They just kept blaming everyone else. I would not stay here again. The noise level outside also made it hard to sleep at night.
Well the property is in a wonderful location, BUT the hotel is really old. Room are not dirty-dirty, but not clean too. Definitely I don’t believe that 300$ was worth it for a night there. While I was taking a shower the water stop completely, also i was asking for the heater because there wasn’t anything and was cold.

The air conditioner does not work. The temperature is fixed regardless what temperature you set. The blanket was extremely thin given the sub freezing temperature outside. Couldnt sleep well for 3 nights because so cold. You get what you pay for. Stay away.
The location is the best reason to stay here. You are right on the edge of the Theater District, with plenty of dining options in all directions. Central Park and Columbus Circle are a short walk away. The staff was very friendly and courteous. My only complaint was the WiFi, as it was on the slow side.

Staff was helpful and friendly. 24/7 coffee, decaf, tea and fruit was nice, as was the continental breakfast. We were on the top floor (6) and noise wasn’t a problem. The room was small but clean. Location is great - near theaters, Times Square and subway. Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t need a lot of space.
The place is old and noisy. It came with 2 sets of ear plugs. The room is tiny. You can't walk around the bed. I was stuck in NY due to a canceled flight and this was the cheapest place to stay near by.
