No heat in the room. Requested to change rooms- no clear reason given why we could not. Asked for extra blankets- waited an hour - had to come down and get them. Was not told there was no housekeeping to bring them up. Froze all night

I know it’s not anyone fault they system was down but they safety of the guest was not cared for. They had to walk you to your room everytime you wanted to get in. What made it worse is they don’t even bother to verify that the room was yours. So anyone could have just walked in. Being in New Orleans and people partying you didn’t know who will be walking into the room in the middle of the night

The server went down the day we arrived. It took about an hour just to check in and since the server was down they couldn't provide room keys. Any time we had to get to our room we had to get someone to open the door.

Cute hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Lots of issues with the stay though. We got “upgraded” to a king room… without a window. Something that had adorned the wall at some point had been ripped down and the screw holes were still in the wall with hardware still there. There were two types of hand soap in the shower? Weird. Also overall repairs were not great. The flooring in the room has gaps throughout. Also we received a letter saying there was an emergency repair needed. No articulation of what it was. No opportunity to move to a sister location or anything to make up for the lack of watwr the first evening or lack of internet services for the remainder of our stay. We were visiting from a different country and had to use cell data to keep in contact with our kids. Not something we usually have to do. I guess all in all, if I were 20 and looking for something cheap and somewhat trendy looking, I’d stay here. Otherwise, it’s not somewhere I’d revisit.
Your choice of one or two hand soaps in the shower.
Where there was something on the wall prior to our visit. It was removed but never repaired.
One small section of the flooring and how it was installed.

Staff was friendly and check in/out was super easy. The hotel gave more of a "boutique" vibe rather than "luxury", but fit our style perfectly. They have a bar and games in the lounge/check in area and the room setup with two separate beds was perfect for two separate people traveling together. Only complaint was the TV that didn't work, but I only needed it for background noise while I slept.

The heat didnt work in our suite. The room was 50°. The comforters were super thin. The 2nd night we changed rooms 3 times & finally downgraded to find a regular one w/ the heat working. No compensation, extra drinks or points were offered. The phone in the room didnt work. The blinds were broken The storage lockers were broken.

Everything should be improved, starting with the cleaning staff. Upon arrival, even though it was past 4 PM there was a line of at least 10 people and they couldn’t give us the rooms because they were “not ready” . The check out is at 11 AM! What ? They didnt have time to prepare the rooms? And on NYE morning I could see why : at 7 AM while I was still trying to sleep, one cleaning lady was sitting on the floor by my door with a clipboard in her hand showing the rooms to take care of but she was too busy chatting with her bf/husband. I went out to her to tell her to be more quiet as I am trying to sleep. She just stared at me and continued to chat . I told her again, this time in Spanish and she made an annoyed face, got up and left. The rooms are minimalistic, with the sink in the room, not in the bathroom (?!) , but the location is very convenient, so I’ve tried to ignore the oddities. There was construction across the street, so it was loud at times. The bar was very poorly supplied. I’ve asked for a Sauvignon Blanc and they didn’t have any. It is not something so hard to find !

Locked out of our room for almost 2 hours while my partner‘s medication was inside with not much help from the front desk staff, the maintenance man did do everything he could to help, just was not able to get in the room. had to call the fire department myself, instead of being offered by the hotel. Also had to ask for a discounted or comp rate instead of being offered by the hotel…

The great thing about this hotel is the location and friendliness of staff. It’s close to everything downtown and the staff were all very friendly. I liked the aesthetic in the lobby, as well as the various games available to play. However, the room was a bit disappointing. There was no place to put our belongings down, (no tables except for the nightstand). We just had everything on the floor. We also didn’t get a scoop chair like the pictures. It was just a metal folding chair that hung on the wall. There were 3 lamps in the room, and only 1 was working. The recessed lighting in the ceiling also stopped working after one night. There weren't any bags in what we assumed was the trash can, and there were no hand towels or wash cloths provided. We were only there for two nights, so we just dealt with it. The bed was also really firm. The building is pretty old, so be aware that the elevators can be a little rickety. We also heard really loud banging in the walls several times during our stay. I don’t think we would stay there again, unfortunately.
