My wife and I spent a week in New Orleans and this brunch in the French Quarter was one we were advised that we had to experience. We were not disappointed in the least. This is a complete buffet brunch and everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. We especially enjoyed the prime rib and desserts, Service was impeccable. It is for sure pricey but it is indeed part of a true Crescent City package.

The location of this Hotel only being a short walk off Canal street and close to the casino worked well for us, but this hotel doesn't offer any parking. Parking for 24hrs starts at around $30 + so this was an expense I should have paid more attention to this fact when booking. the building is old and our room 304 had such squeaky floors that it woke the other couple that were traveling with us when we got up to use the bathroom we shared and if either couple went to bed before the other you were afraid to walk around as you were worried about waking them it was so bad. The bathroom is in great need of updating. There is a jacuzzi tub that doubles as a shower that is difficult to get in/out of and also difficult to get under the shower head with the lip/stair of the tub that gets in the way We also had a mouse visit us which they had to have been aware of as there was a mouse trap under the stove For brick interior walls you could hear people in the halls and one night someone banging on someones door in the middle of the night and woke us, when we spoke to the front desk about this it turned out it was hotel staff and when we complained they said they were just trying to sort out an issue and didn't intend on waking us up - then he shouldn't have been banging on someones door and yelling at them. Our concerns at check out seemed to be heard but shrugged off Ish... The pool was very small and in-between our building surrounded by 4 stories so you don't get much if any sun. the positive was that there was coffee and croissants each morning in the lobby and as I mentioned earlier the location was handy to the trams on Canal street and the beds were comfortable.

Spent 5 nights over Halloween with my daughter, her husband and two children. We had a two bedroom lock off on the fourth floor. It was spacious and comfortable. It was well stocked in terms of dishes towels etc. This is a very old and historic building so you have to put up with a strange lay out and rickety elevator. The lobby and rooms are clean but furnishings are dated. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the French quarter and streetcar line. The casino is very close. Parking is expensive in Downtown New Orleans but we like to gamble so we parked at the casino. All in all a great value with a great location.

Stayed here for a week's vacation. Unique kind of small place. Our suite was good sized, bedroom was small, but that happy in renovations to an older building! Things were clean, bed was very comfortable, it was nice and quiet for the most part! Gail at the front desk is a true gem, very friendly and helpful! It served it's purpose well for us!

With everything there is good and not so good. We did an II exchange for a 3 bed/2bath. The good is location- walk to everything! Beds were comfortable. And the maid came to exchange towels every day. We had 2 computers, 2 iPads and 4 phones and n a week never got connected! This unit (301a) was put together without a level or common sense. The dishwasher can’t open the TVs are crooked on the way etc. still... it was walkable to everything and pretty clean.

I stayed in a two bedroom suite with 4 other guests. The rooms were connected, both with a bedroom in each room and a sofa bed in each living room. There was plenty of room for all of us. The showers were clean for the most part except the jacuzzi's did not work in either tub. It also took a while for the shower to get warm. The towels were a little rough and small for my personal use but it did its job. The lobby is a little small and un-interesting. The main door is always locked so you need your room key to enter and exit. The elevator is very slow and creaky but functional. I had a good experience overall and like the distance away from Bourbon street and other activities, but would probably stay at a more modern hotel.

Located near Mother's restaurant for a good breakfast to start the day. Small pool. People are considerate though--quiet after 10 PM. Clean and well appointed with refrigerators and table, etc. Comfortable couch for TV viewing after busy day sightseeing.

The Hotel is centrally located to alot of attractions. We didn't rent a car but were able to walk to Bourbon St, Canal St, Restaurants, Street Car etc. Hotel was clean and friendly staff. It was a little dated and pool was green.

i had them make a reservation for a dinner cruise. They didn't tell me that they would charge me $59 to make the reservation. I just noticed it on my credit card statement. It would have been nice if they had mentioned this because I could have called the number myself and made the reservation but was in a hurry. They should have told me though. I was very disappointed in this. It is also the first time this has ever happened.

We arrived here after our Carnival Dream Cruise...looks can be deceiving...we were greeted by Gail, the front desk clerk. She was very friendly and had our information and room ready for us. The room and hotel wasn't like a Marriott or Hilton, but it was clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The pool was small but refreshing and we chilled listening to jazz music while taking a dip. The hotel was in walking location of many restaurants and tourist attractions in the city. Kudos to Twilia and Jack because they gave us good information and assistance. I read some of the reviews and the negative ones don't give this place justice. Good place for the money...
