Nice historical houses very clean and friendly the only downside is some of the rooms are a little small

Decent hotel in a decent location. The room and bathroom was a little small for 4 ladies but we weren't in the room for very often so it didn't bother us too much. The staff for the most part was extremely friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the little courtyard and spent all of our downtime out there.

Front desk clerks were great and check in was easy. Location was great as well. About a 20/25 minute walk to the French Quarter and you were at the beginning of the Garden District. Also close to the Lafayette Cemetary No. 1. The bed was soft and the air conditioning worked great. Now the negatives. Place is a little rundown. I was in room 202. My toilet paper holder with missing the roller. Also there is no closet to hang clothes. I also killed a roach that the housekeeper never cleaned up in the bathroom. The light in the hallway where my room was located was very bright and shown into my room and the window covering didn’t block it out at all. Where the complementary coffee is located there is no trashcan near it so all of the empty sugars and other used stuff is just laying on top.

The hotel is beautiful and historic!!!! It wasnt at all a five star hotel but being there instead of being in some fancy pants place brought new orleans to life for me! Great cheap stay!

Brandy was great at check in! Parking is on the street, but easy to find spots. Rooms were quaint and clean and the location is perfect to get around, regardless of what mode of transportation you chose.

To start we read that there will be a continental breakfast, we were told that we were staying in the main house, they put us in the next door house, the curtains on the windows were dirty and ripped, the sheets were old, the towels were frayed, the room smelled of mildew, and we felt sick from the moment we walked in. The furniture was dirty, we could’nt sit on the chairs. All in all I will never go to a place as filthy as that

Keep the prices affordable. Great location. Must improve little things like working shower heads and better towels and linens.

A nice hotel to use when u need a deal. The room and bedding were clean and hotel was nice and d with tons of character. I plan to book again due to its affordability.

This charming hotel is right across the street from the street car. Making it a very desirable location. The Inn staff is top notch and make you feel welcome. Brandy was amazing giving us information on the city and steering us in the direction off all things New Orleans. Would definitely recommend. Only suggestion if you have a hard time sleeping with noise request a room in the back.

It was just ok. It met our needs to have a room in the Garden District. But it was dusty & old with fewer amenities.

We stayed here twice, one pre-cruise and again post cruise. There were three adults. The first stay, we were there for 2 days, and the room we were given was exceptionally small, especially for 3 adults. The furniture was end to end and the bathroom only had a small shower stall. We spent most of the time on this stay outside on the patio where it didn't feel so clausterphobic. The second stay, we asked for a bigger room, and got exactly what we asked for. The room was big enough for us and our luggage and we still had plenty of room to move around. The bathroom had a full bath with a tub. The only drawback to this hotel is that there is no parking lot, so you have to park on a side street.

Roaches in room. Bathroom needs a complete overhaul

Where do we start.... The Good: (1) The staff was nice at check-in. (2) The hotel is right on the street car line. (3) The outside looks good. The not so Good... (1) Published check-in time is off by an hour, and this is not-negotiable. (2) The room is beyond deplorable, no blanket, yellow sheets, black tub, and just dirty. (3) There are little amenities in the room, i.e. no coffee maker, no safe (do not leave anything valuable in the room). The floors were very uneven, the door uneven, and security of the room was very questionable. I chose this hotel due to the reviews and pictures on this site, the historic sense of the hotel, but let me tell you, they are very deceiving. I found out that the rooms were not cleaned very well, had to clean the sink myself and the towel came out red in color..... The second day, they did not even clean the room, but everyday the staff came in the room...(I can tell because you have to deadbolt the room and it was always undone) There were no blankets...anywhere, and when you ask, they say they have none. This hotel may be in a historic building, but it should not look like a run down project.

Nice place but they were currently doing renovations which caused a few issues; no cable TV, no coffee maker in room, and shower handle was missing from shower so we took baths (not fun when your in a hurry). Otherwise is a cute quaint place close to everything. Will definitely stay there again.

In a good location, Staff was very helpful to me in my atypical circumstance. Good breakfast bar. Room was small but adequate, Bathtub had a leaking faucet and a cabinet that seemed to have had water damage. The rooms had no phones. As I did not have a cell phone with me, it turned out to be an inconvenience. Staff let me use their office phone and took messages.

There was no functioning AC for the three nights I was here.

The hotel is in the process of being remodeled and that's appreciated. We walked into our room and it smelled musty. Over all the room was clean the bathtub was stained from use but it had been cleaned.

Convenient location, but no towels in the bathroom, dirty floors and everything was dusty. Breakfast was decent.

my best experience was with the Manager. i had i small problem and he resolved wit a lot of professionality
