Tucked away in the backyard of a beautiful Lakeview home, this spacious carriage house is designed with your comfort in mind. You’ll have everything you need — a fully stocked kitchen and bar, a cozy living room with a Smart TV and electric fireplace, and a charming porch perfect for unwinding.

The home is located in Lakeview, the most family friend/safe area of New Orleans! Only 3 miles to the street car or 5 miles to the French Quarter.

Getting Around:
Plenty of free/easy street parking. (**Please note, there is usually plenty of spots available directly in front of the home, but the neighborhood will be repaving a few streets from July - December 25' and this is one of them. There may be instances where you will have to park about 1/2 block down along a side street. All street parking is free and plentiful in the neighborhood so it should not be a major problem but wanted to make guests aware**)

The guests have the entire carriage house to themselves. There is a shared backyard area with a pool that the guests do not have access to.

Clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The kitchen was adequately stocked, but since we did a lot of cooking, a few additional items—like a 9x13 baking dish, a sheet pan, some Tupperware for leftovers, and extra dish towels—would have been helpful.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely choose to stay here again!

Property is very nice and comfortable for a couple. Loved the neighborhood and surrounding area. Easy travel from Metairie to New Orleans…15 minute car ride. They were repaving streets and sidewalks while we were there so we had to park at the end of the street and walk to and from several times per day. Laundry facilities are outside and down the stairs. Would suggest a light to be able to do laundry in the evening/night. Also would suggest getting a pizza pan for warming leftovers in the oven. Thank you for letting us stay at your place.

Host - met Doug, the owner. Very nice man. The location was perfect for our family visit. The only suggestions are:More kitchen towels and more bathroom towels and more tolet paper. Also a big bowl for a salad and for beating eggs, etc. Other wise this is perfect. Is it open fror rent JUne 7 to 21st and what is the cost per night?
