It was a great stay. We did have a mixup with the room at first, but they quickly made the necessary corrections. We had a great stay, comfortable, and relaxing stay. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The shower head had poor pressure, could use a vinegar soak, Grab a towel before you shower since they’re under the sink, Make sure you have charger blocks as they don’t have many USB ports as other hotels. I think there was 1 on the lamp on the Table by the window. Breakfast is only 2 hrs 6:30-8:30am Other than that Comfortable bed!!!

No complaints. It’s a typical Best Western. It’s easily accessible to New Orleans (less than 30 minutes) but away from the hubbub. Several chain food options nearby for kids who aren’t into the authentic Louisiana food. 15 minutes drive to a swamp tour. We saved a ton of money by staying here instead of in New Orleans. We drove to New Orleans for the day and paid around $15 to park in a lot near the streetcar line. This cost much less than staying in the city.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff — especially Ms. Mary at the front desk, who is professional, warm, and always helpful. The team overall is friendly and efficient, making every stay feel like home. Rooms are spotless and consistently well-maintained, with comfy beds, hot showers, great A/C, fast Wi-Fi, microwaves, and fridges. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with rotating options, healthy choices, and 24/7 coffee. The pool is also a refreshing bonus. Parking is safe and plentiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful — perfect for both professionals and families. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Whether for work or leisure, Best Western Slidell delivers every time.

Everyone were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the toilet was very low. We are in our 70's and I have to wear a large knee brace. If the toilets need to stay this low then add a rail on either side. But other than low toilets the Best Western in Slidell was great
