The hotel is to be a smoke free hotel. Our room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. The sheets, comforters, and pillows smelled awful.

The staff were super friendly. I met and spoke with the general manager who I found out had only been there about 5 weeks and his staff was new as well. they were all very professional and well trained, much better that their new status. Will definitely stay there again.
Kitchen on the room, very clean, ample, soft beds and pillows!
I had high hopes for this hotel, since the pictures and reviews were nice. The staff was very nice and the room was spacious and had a nice kitchenette. But if you look closer, you see an old hotel that desperately needs cleaning and renovating. Our room had a weird musty smell, and the room as clean as I would have liked. I went to put some things in the closet and there was dirt and old chips on the floor, like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The beds were just double beds, which it makes it basically impossible for 2 adults to get a good night sleep, they should be queen beds. They had a breakfast room, which did not have much to pick from and bottled water was $4. What got me the most was that you could hear people walking above you in your room and it kept me awake. Why are people walking around at 2 or 3 in the morning? Most hotels have at least a solid floor so you don't hear the people above you. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing.

The hotel was convenient (just off of 10) and was clean. The front desk person was very pleasant and helpful. The first room we were given smelled like smoke (which was odd since it is a non-smoking hotel), so she came right up and brought us keys to another room, easy-peasy.
This store was excellent I don't like surveys that make you respond to a question by writing what you think about it
Indoor salt water pool was awesome. Very roomy room
First night was great since I was drunk. Second night I was awoken by someone showering above me. Woke up again shortly after to kids screaming and a loud tv. The walls were paper thin making it hard to sleep.

Upon our arrival when I checked in I was supposed to have a double bed room. Walked into the room and there was only one bed. Went back down to front desk and told them the situation. The first response was that we do not have any double bed rooms available and you can go get a blow up mattress from walmart. I told them if all possible I would like a double bed room. All that was a available was a hearing accessible room for two nights and then our third night would have to go back to the one bed room. The front desk clerk then had issues with changing the room in the computer so she called management to help her. The manager came out and wanted to charge us an extra 80 for the hearing accessible room for the two nights. Management did not have good customer service as she could have put us in the hearing accessible room without extra charge. Do not recommend the hotel to anyone.
The hotel has everything you need to feel comfortable along with nearby stores. ( i. e. Walmart, Olive Garden etc.)
We went over to Slidell for Mardi Gras and this hotel was very nice. The desk cleak Alex was very polite and she was super firendly! They also had some fun games going on! Room smelled a little smoky but other than that it was great!
