Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It’s not the hotel’s problem obviously but they were not helpful with information nearby on what was open or store close by. We were basically stranded. We couldn’t get a taxi or uber to leave, luckily we were able to get a lyft 30 minutes later. The park they say is by them is the smallest park ever and all stores close at like 2pm. Last call for the hotel bar is 9pm which is so early. Also the rooms are much much smaller they I imagined them to be. For sure not ever going back to seguin.

Was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. The decor is modern white and gray and the minimal staff somehow manages to keep the rooms immaculately clean. I slept better on the bed than my bed at home. The complimentary breakfast buffet was ok, but no complaints since I’m not much of a breakfast person so I was happy with toast and endless coffee. The WiFi worked great, husband was able to work from his laptop in the room. This hotel is right on the town square which has little boutique shops and restaurants, and we took walks to some park near the new library. Will definitely stay here again when in the Seguin/New Braunfels area.

The restaurant is really excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

If you like the smell of mesquite, then you will like this hotel. The room did not smell like this, but every place else did and so will your clothes. The room had no hangers for clothes, no iron or ironing board, no microwave, but it did not a tiny fridge. The room layout was rather strange with two full baths. I am not a fan of exposed concrete and pipes in the ceiling. The pull down shades did not cover the windows entirely, which mean I did not have the feeling of privacy at night that I would expect. The hotel was often noisy at night. Our room was the only one at the end of a hallway with a door. So, I would close the door. On the positive side, there was a lot of light during the day, nice large windows. The shows were really nice and very clean. The location is excellent, even if there is not a lot to do downtown Seguin. The town squire is nice for walks and there is a good coffee shop near by. I like the little town very much.

Nice hotel in a quaint friendly town. Hotel is right in the middle of a nicely manicured town square. Everything is within walking distance. Area is very clean and whatever construction is being done is well covered up. Our first night we dined at the hotel which has a limited menu but everything we ate was enjoyable. We are already thinking of returning at a later date.

Our room was extremely small. As soon as we opened the door, we walked right into the bed. Other than that, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

The room was very clean and had a wonderful view. The shower has a weak water pressure and the AC unit is a little bit noisy at night. But overall, I loved my stay!

There were ants in the room. The room was so small it was difficult to walk around. There was no closet and the pipes and conduits were exposed. The entry, room, and closet doors were ALL bound up and difficult to open. I was amazed to find a sewer grind pump in bathroom! They wanted to charge us triple the price for a room with 2 beds and the roll away bed was dirty so we ended up sleeping 3 in a queen bed. Its needless to say but we won't be back. Buyer beware, this should be a 1 star hotel.

The staff was friendly and the room was great but it was just too hot. We kept trying to turn down but it wouldn't go pass 62 and only felt like 72. But other than that everything else was great.

Needing a place close the my venue that wasn't your average ordinary hotel. Park Plaza was an old stand by hotel back in the day, and they kept it just the way it was. Great atmosphere, clean and up to date.

Thank you for you review. Unfortunately the smell of mesquite is due to the fact that we have an open grill in The Chop House. I am very sorry for this. Thank you for the suggestions we will for sure be taken care of these items immediately. Once again thank you for your review
