"Room seemed to have a long term guest previously, the room was far from clean. The pictures of rooms do not match actual rooms, for sure the price of the rooms are 2 times the amount they should be. There was pubic hair on the floor of the restroom. I wish I could upload pictures to show the bait and switch. Not only when we arrived at 6:18, we had no clue how to gain entry to the room as the office was closed. The staff said they sent us to he message but we only received after we had got there. We think it was because we reached out a few hours before to see if we could just move our stay to the next weekend. Rather then respond they immediately charged our card on file, no response no even a I am sorry we cannot. We still went because my wife was feeling pretty good after her surgery she had the day before. It was extremely disappointing to have a room look like cozy cabin still rooms and turn out to be a motel with long term residents living there. If you want to see pictures, I will be leaving a review in Yelp and anywhere else I can. Not only did we receive a text message at 7:00am reminding us of a 11am check out, a staff member was knocking on our door at 10:58am and not just 1 knock. They kept knocking until we opened the door, we were literally in the middle of getting our bags. Don’t let the view get you, go further up to Oceanside or somewhere else in the area. The manager then texted me 2 long paragraphs justifying their actions after I complained to hotels.com"

"It's not a fancy "resort" as the name suggests, but it is just what you need at the beach. The room was clean and spacious. We had a pet-friendly room, and there were lots of "extras" for our dog---stainless steel food and water bowls, two towels for after-beach walks, treats, a blanket, and the couch was covered in a soft, washable cover so we felt good about letting our dog curl up beside us. The staff were friendly. The hot tub was not too hot and placed right at a window overlooking the ocean. The mattress on the bed was very comfortable."
