The view! We were on the third floor and the view was amazing! We had a view of twin rocks. It's a very basic property, but well kept up. There is no elevator, but the schlepping of luggage was worth it. The stairs were not steep. We opened the slider and keep the screen closed and listened to the waves. We rented a Goonies DVD from the office!The best part was a very comfortable and supportive mattress. I slept like a baby. The shower had a very tall shower head so it felt really good. The freezer froze all our blue ice very well and all our food fit in the normal sized fridge.

Amazing Beach Access

The check in staff were super friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of movies on DVD and board games to borrow. Overall the place has a laid back, comfortable feel. The decor is a bit outdated but it’s clean. The location and views of the beach are amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

If I went by the great time we had, it would be a 5 star...yet, the mind set and company with me had a lot to do with my time. The place itself definitely needs some attention. Although, I'm sure it's hard to keep a place on top levels with weather/beach conditions in the mix. Again, we had a great time...beach is right there, view is great...the murphy bed was comfy...and for the things that need attention, I chose to look past them and enjoy my time at the beach! Staff was friendly.

Cute little property - great location!

We came for a Father's Day weekend trip. It's very convenient to everything in Rockaway, and the rooms are ocean facing with incredible views. The rooms are very dated, but also, very clean. Don't expect luxury, but everything is comfortable and you can't beat the views.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockaway Beach Resort. We reserved 2 ocean view family condo rooms. Rooms had all amenities mentioned in the details. The view was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay

Room was great, staff was super friendly and was a great little place to stay. Parking wasnt always the easiest due to location but they helped us out there!! View from room was amazing and the access to beach was super easy and accessible.
